    I love these black cased Seikos.

    Love this one. esp. the crazy color of the markers during daytime. But I'm not a NATO fan either and so slightly prefer the SLA061 Willard with the murdered-out bracelet to match. But I'd love to have both...

    Plot twist, the hour markers are Bergeon Rodico bars.

    Whats the case SS DLC or PVD?

    • @whodeycinbengals
      @whodeycinbengals ปีที่แล้ว

      It is Diashield black hard coated steel, so no one knows if it’s PVD or DLC besides Seiko. I’d assume it’s PVD though

    I wish the second hand wasn’t black, because it is almost invisible.

    Thank you Rob.
    Those straps are made in a special old school Japanese method.
    Love my night vision samurai SRPH97, this one is a bit of a grail for me.

      The ONLY other Samurai that is better for me.... Is the Blue Lagoon. I was just about to buy a SRPH97 dial and hands to swap into my SRPF03. Beautiful watches.

    Beautiful watch. Would love to see that one on a nice rubber strap, not a big nato guy.

    Nice, could I suggest the titanium Certina 38mm 👌🏻, one third of the price, 300mWR slimmer,, then that kind of braclet on a watch for 3000$? It makes the watch wobble on the arm, and it puts it higher.. but otherwise very nice..

    It's a cool looking watch. There's nothing i dislike which is why i had to buy it. The minimal text works perfectly & the lume & fabric strap really are a cut above the rest.

      @@hammalamiri12 Unkle Straps. They carry rubber waffle & tropic straps & the blacked out hardware to go with them. I have mine on their classic waffle strap which is similar to the one used on the SLA055 release. Enjoy.

    Beautiful watch! Those Seiko woven nato straps are Unreal. Same as the SPB's. Haven't found a similar quality Nato strap yet in the aftermarket. And I don't feel like spending $150-200 per strap on the second hand market. Cause sadly, Seiko won't sell them.

    Just picked this one up in like new condition for $1,400 US all in! Plan to flip it and make a few hundred dollars, that is unless, I fall in love with it.

    Would it kill Seiko to decorate their movements better? Or maybe even just have some nice no date options?

    • @hammalamiri12
      @hammalamiri12 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This movement is decorated much better and better made then Tudor / Breitling / LONGINES and many other brands between 3 - 5k usd, however I do agree with having no date options

    3k huh? For a Japanese watch? I mean I’m not a hater or anything I’m just very used to Swiss (maybe German if I’m going a little wild! lol (I mean fantastic) the more watches at the party the better. (May everyone find their true love and a few mistresses.). I wouldn’t mind a Seiko, I never thought about it. Embarrassingly, I just thought any of ‘em were a few hundred bucks at most. (Except Grand Seiko). Like a Bulova or Citizen. A $3,000. Diver? Special addition or not that’s just shy of an Omega Seamaster! I have heard nice things about grand seiko though. Actually, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Seiko in general. Actually My father had one for work and beat it to death over 25 years. It’s still ticking! For me, It’s just being Swiss- German myself I never thought of buying anything else Save the odd Bulova or Citizen. (Ya know?) for the sake of something different without a heavy commitment. I’ll have to venture into the world if Seiko and have a peek. I certainly like this one! It’s very nice. Not 3,000 bucks worth of nice lol. J/k No idk 🤷🏻‍♂️(yet). Anyway, Thank you for the nice review, it’s definitely something to think about down the line. I appreciated it 👍

      I'm inclined to agree. I have a few inexpensive Seiko's and am no expert or watch snob but I would never guess this was a $3000 watch. It just doesn't look the part. I would spend that money elsewhere

    • @NexDim.
      @NexDim. 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some people want a very nice watch without omega or Tudor on their wrist. I used to be in the camp of “why would I spend Tudor money on a seiko” but as time goes on in this hobby I’m getting it more and more.

    • @hammalamiri12
      @hammalamiri12 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@NexDim.tudors have great bezel action costs more and I don’t care about certifications because I lightly knocked my bb58 and the movement completely crashes not to mention all the shoddy finishing on the dial / between the lugs. You more or less get what you pay for with most brands including Seiko or Omega
