Netflix isn’t going to tolerate his crap after this. They found him a wheat field, he didn’t like it. He held up production to grow his own wheat field….not kidding.
To me, Zack Snyder's films are a blatant waste of studio funds, prioritizing style over substance. His bloated, indulgent productions lack the nuance and artistry that define the work of visionary directors like Francis Ford Coppola, who must finance their passion projects out-of-pocket.!!!!!! It's a travesty that Snyder continues to receive millions to churn out hollow, overproduced spectacles.
...I mean, it would be, if there was any spectacle in it...? Seriously, if you just LOOK at this movie, as in ignore the writing, the characters, the acting; everything, and just LOOK at this movie as you would at a picture... can you name like 2 spectacular things in it? Or at the least, 2 things you haven't already seen done (and probably better) in other movies? From a design standpoint, I honestly haven't seen anything unique or original or even stylistic. This entire thing is visually as generic as it can possibly be. Actually nothing except those hilarious haircuts is recognisable. From an effects standpoint, well... It's 2024 and the movie is CGI. It's really, really, really difficult to be impressive in any way, and I do fully acknowledge that. But I mean, if you saw The Last Jedi, you pretty much already saw everything and more in terms of special effects that you can see in this.
@@codinghusky5196 Spectacle in the sense of big, large scale production and explosions, but there's nothing impressive or unique about it. Cardboard cutouts instead of actual characters and screenplay that's full of holes.
I disagree with your opinion of editing the film on a treadmill, I personally think this film needs to be edited in slow motion for the slow motion scenes!,
There’s a comic book store owner in Las Vegas that is obsessed with ZS. So much so that he defends Ezra Miller because he was “Zack’s Flash”, not kidding. Needless to say, he thinks Feeble Moon is a masterpiece as well. He’s got a channel called “The Sci Fi Center”. I guess he thinks he’s a gatekeeper of geekdom. Have a watch if you want a laugh.
What is not on the screen does not exist in Zack the Hack Snyder movies. The ships suddenly appearing, and people appearing far too late. Or are sitting doing nothing until needed on screen.
she is the scargiver only to those who are privilege to be brought back from the dead and have the option to not have the scar cosmetically remove, which is stupid in so many levels, zack is a R! also, isnt the sucky2 tentacle alien from the first movie more of a scargiver ?
I knew he was a hack as a storyteller after Sucker Punch. It was so bad the theater let me in for free. Visually, its more striking than any Michael Bay film. But when Michael Bay is far more successful as a storyteller, theres a problem. These Rebel Moon movies feel like what you would get if you gave Tommy Wiseau a huge budget.
Zach Snyder is the Ed Wood of the 21st century.
Well, I'm certainly scarred now...
The slow motion in Zack the Hack Snyder movies only goes to more contemplation time of all the mistakes and blunders appearing on screen.
Hard to have spoilers for a very unimaginative and derivative movie.
I knew the wheat plot line wouldnt matter in the second movie after watching the 1st.
😂 lol

Noble calls her scargiver in the first movie when he has them all in those chairs that grab people. But they offer no explanation for the name.
I saw the scar she gave him and I've seen people with worse shaving scars than what Admiral Dumb and Dumber Got

This movie is the definition of vapid, hollow spectacle.

You guys are pretty funny- and hit on a lot of things I also noticed, but no one else was talking about. 👏👏👏
Noble actually referes to Kora as the scargiver in the first movie (no reason given) when Kai turns the odd squad over to him.
Hey! Do you guys have a Twitter or anything? I love the pod so far and I wanted to get in contact with y’all!
Excellent analysis and review 🖖🏽
"Scar giver" was in the first movie .. I am sure I heard it
They actually did the harvest in 3 days so thay can also dig the tunnels lol
Baffle the baffoons with BS.

Good review! I share a lot of the same thoughts and frustrations.
There is a reason why "Noble" died. He gave the movie its title..he says something like bring me the "scargiver" 😂
I think Snyder would be good as a special effects director but as a writer or director of a movie he's bad.

Between Rebel Moon and wanting Batman to be r^ped, I think Zach the Hack Snyder has... lost it.
Sorry folks but the voiceover anthony hopkins is chat gpt. For real. Listen a few times. Blegh.
OMG worse then madam web?! 😂
Well, as long as people support this garbage and watch it and praise it we are going to get more of the same.
You honestly didn't have to watch this movie
