      Everyone has the capacity to create, it just takes the right encouragement for people to believe in their own ability. You can absolutely create this. Start with small wraps, practice techniques and weaves and you will definitely surprise yourself with what you can achieve, I promise

    I just submitted a request to join the group and hopefully be able to participate and learn more about this wonderful craft. Still figuring out the tension with weaving and have a ways to go with attachments and curves. Nevertheless, it's not as intimidating as it was initially. Thanks for the free tutorials.

      My accent has faded a bit in the last few years, people have a hard time pin pointing where it's from usually 😁

    How do you know how much wire you will need when designing or adjusting for different sized stones/crystals? I’m genuinely confused

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is very difficult to answer as wire lengths very much depend on the size/thickness and shape of the stone. For this design I would add 4 cm (1.6") to the base wires for every 2 mm the cabochon is bigger by. In general, if you are unsure, I would always use a little more than you think you need to be on the safe side.

    I love to watch and learn from you. Your instructions are so easy to follow and your voice is so soft and soothing. One thing may I ask, I am from US and our wire is gauged in a different way so is there anyway you might could include the US sizes on the wire so this girl doesn't have to work to look up the break down on wire sizes. Maybe display on bottom of screen? Thanks love your beautiful work

      Aw thank you so much for your kind words!

    Is it possible to get the gauge of the wire…I can’t find this in Canada

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, the wire specs are shown in the materials list, but this was one of my earlier tutorials without the conversion. Here is a conversion chart that will help you with that. :)

    Great tutorial. Easy to follow. Do you use any tool to polish to get rid of the tool marks? Some people recommend plasti-dip to cover the pliers, what would you say?Thank you.

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tend to just use polishing pads and ceramic bits for my dremel to get rid of marks. I find the coated tools don't last long and as you get used to it you will find you mark your wires less and less. :)

      Sorry to hear that! If you are having trouble following, there is an option to slow down the video. If you click on the little 'cog' on the right hand side of the video, it will open up settings where you can choose the playback speed. Hope this helps :)
