what killed this area was low public housing people move out business start to also move out no work crime goes up and up ,the city really knows how to kill a neighborhood not the first time will not be the last time
Your videos are great ... But the missing ingredient is definitely MUSIC ... Some beats or rap music, reggae ... Something would definitely make your work stand out. I think your Subs will grow rapidly if you go back and add music to past videos! LONDON UK 😁❤️
Watch out 😳you're getting dangerously close to Hammel Houses. Thats right where I used to live. The tall buildings with the terraces is Dayton Towers. I lived there from the 90's to early 2000's around 84st on the top floor. I had a balcony and pool right by the beach. You weren't supposed to but I'd grill on my balcony at night. I used a plug in electric coil to ignite the coals instead of flame to be covert. The train is about 40 minutes into Manhattan where I worked. I really enjoyed my time there but had to go when my kids were school age to upstate NY. The schools have kids from the projects and they are pretty wild. My years in Rockaway were much better than my time upstate NY although you do have to be cautious of the projects and there is always the impending possibility of a random crime anywhere. I've never seen any trouble on the beach and I'd certainly recommend a day trip. Since the new construction that beach has become a trendy surfer spot too. The surfer beach is right there in the 80's somewhere, I'm not sure exactly around 88th I think and there's a few new places to eat or have a drink now. Nice memories... nice video. 👍 Thanks

These rundown buildings are there since 2006 when I lived there. Actually fed the feral cats on the balcony.
