This song, Better Than Me and Hinder in general have a huge impact on my life. My father left me and my mother when I was 7. Was incredibly stressful for us. But perhaps the worst of it was my mother's broken heart. I was really all she had, and I never left her. Any time I'd be with her when she was driving, she'd be playing Hinder, 3 Doors Down, Shinedown and lots of other artists who make these types of former love songs.
