Little League lives. 3:22 - The look on Mattingly's face: priceless. Reminds me of the look on Joe Torre's face when Jeter and Rodriguez didn't call an easy pop fly between and bumped into each other and it bounced off Jeter's glove. Another one of those priceless managerial stares after super stars make dumb errors.
LOL @ 2:47 "HERE COMES -- are you kidding??" Vin Scully is a legend. And then Kershaw just flipping the ball into the air like "fuck it" is the perfect ending to that whole fiasco. The only thing missing was the fast-forward button and the Benny Hill theme song.
elevate111 Goat is a slang for the the players who mess up like Castillo who made that error for the Mets against the Yankees to end the game. Or Bill Buckner. People who mess up in big situations it’s not just meant for “Greatest of all Time”
Still don't understand all the complaining about the Obstruction call. Third baseman was clearly trying to trip Craig. He didn't have possession of the ball nor could he field it once it skipped past him on the throw, and you can see him check over his right shoulder to see where Craig was and puts his legs up. Right call by the ump.
John Berg You are wrong lmao Just because he wasn’t trying to get in the way doesn’t mean its not obstruction. He was literally laying down and stuck his legs up in the base line and got in Allen Craig’s way. Therefore, it was obstruction and you’re blind or you just don’t know the rules of the game :)
For all the shit Jim Joyce has gotten for the blown Armando Gallarraga perfect game, he nailed that WS obstruction call. One of the gutsiest WS calls probably ever.
Honestly, that is too close to call. The catcher had it until he took his foot off of the base before the catch. But, it is near simultaneous that I would say the runner is safe.
I respect the catcher at 1:53. He watched his team make a bunch of errors and then there was a close play and when the ump said no, he took it and let it go.
@@n8lang Yes he did. I don't know why people like you in the comments say things that are observably bullshit. Go to 2:05. He tried going towards home, but tripped over the 3rd baseman. I'm not saying it was intentional, and Ethan probably isn't either, but the fact is that the obstruction is the only reason the play was close to begin with. He would have been home easy if the player at 3rd had not tripped him.
I love how these balls that are barely hit end up in the outfield because of bad throws. One day someone will accidentally throw it over the outfield wall.
he tripped over a red sox player lying on the ground without the ball anywhere near him and when craig got up to go home the red sox player got in the way and interfered with craig's ability to run home
"From hero to goat" isn't an uncommon phrase. Going from the very top (hero) to the bottom/ being the one who's blamed for everything going bad (goat, relating to scapegoat). Being a goat and being the GOAT are two different things.
3:58 yes I’m a cubs fan, but this shouldn’t be on here”. It was just a simple error. They happen all the time. Just a simple ground ball took a bad hop
Little League homers are the best; the the vladdy bounced base hit, classic; i know this is new school but Bob Brenly had the worst Best Day Ever, four errors and game-winning homer
Those who are saying the runner does not have to touch the plate because he was obstructed are wrong. Rule 5.06(b)(4)(I) Comment: The fact a runner is awarded a base or bases without liability to be put out does not relieve him of the responsibility to touch the base he is awarded and all intervening bases. He may have touched the plate at some point but we don't see it because the camera moves away from the plate after the play. Even if he did not touch the plate, it is up to the defense to appeal. Absent an appeal, the runner would not be out.
the 1st one it's look like a comedy of error. the 3 rd one, is like what the fuck and why has he strow the ball there, did he completely forgot where he was or couldn't get up properly? not making fun of those players, just saying it. that's all. it's a hard sports
For anyone who doesn't know why 2:09 is safe is because they were saying the guy who plays third triped the cardinals guy and so whoever something like this happens the runner will be called automatically safe I know they said it but I saw a comment and there was a bunch of replies that were confused also
5:52 "KINDA LIKE A DROP KICK, BUT WITH A BAT." Announcer has clearly never seen a game of cricket before. That is the way cricket pitches are always thrown.
I dont watch baseball but: The call on the comedy of errors at 2:51 is the best thing I have ever seen/heard. The announcer sounds SO tired of the nonsense 😂😂😂😂
My sister was the catcher for her high school team so she didn't run very fast. She hit the ball 2 feet in front of home plate and got a home run out of it. They over throw 1st, 2nd, 3rd and home.
That interference call was absolute garbage. If that’s the case, then the runner interfered with the fielders ability to catch the ball. You have to be allowed to make a reasonable play on the ball.
There is no way this video got a million views O_O. Thank you so much guys.
Not Enough Baseball I suscribed
Not Enough Baseball you're welcome
Not Enough Baseball is awesome
Not Enough Baseball i
Not Enough, don't feel too good about it, it's merely a reflection of how empty our lives are.
That Dodger around-the-field error vs the Padres was classic.
Bobby Crosby AKA Dodgerfilms even had the play on video!!!
Frank O'Connor I
"Are you kidding..." seriously brings me to tears
Especially since it was at the Dodgers’ expense.
I was taught when I was like 6 if you have an error you run it in you eat the error and don't force another.
i believe in baseball they call those whoopsies
Done by the my bad guys
Did anyone else laugh at the name pie at 5:47 LOL XD
hey my last name is Pye(pie)
Poor Astros lol
Best part of this video was Guerrero hitting the curve ball on the bounce lol
Little League lives. 3:22 - The look on Mattingly's face: priceless. Reminds me of the look on Joe Torre's face when Jeter and Rodriguez didn't call an easy pop fly between and bumped into each other and it bounced off Jeter's glove. Another one of those priceless managerial stares after super stars make dumb errors.
dang that first guy was fast
the 2013 world series wasn’t an error, it was botched by the ump
I honestly think gomez was out
craig never even touched the bag not to metion that was not a obstruction
That was textbook obstruction.
3:42 CORREA IS GOAT
3:03 HERE COMES - r u kidding
If the Cleveland browns were a baseball team
There used to be a St Louis Brown's actually
They’d be the marlins
The browns are not that bad because they have a combo of OBJ and Baker Mayfield
Eric Blaine 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The Browns are good now
LOL @ 2:47 "HERE COMES -- are you kidding??" Vin Scully is a legend. And then Kershaw just flipping the ball into the air like "fuck it" is the perfect ending to that whole fiasco. The only thing missing was the fast-forward button and the Benny Hill theme song.
DroverChicago hahaha I wouldve done way more than what kershaw did
He sounded so pissed lol
😂and then Don Mattingly looking dead on the inside
3:03 here comes are u kidding
1:08 That does not look like an error to me *sees the throw* Oh never mind
Those plays are never errors it has to be routine
Was that a throw?
3:03 Vin Scully "are u kidding"
2:11 he never even touched the plate
Great observation. Very true.
they shouldnt have won
i know he was so out, bad call by the umpire
+Shepherd Scott the umpire was right. He was in the way of the runner. Runner automatically gets home
+I Sack i didn't think it was intentional
Man, the Astros used to be GARBAGE!!!
Due to the popularity of this video, I will be uploading a new video very soon :)
what is ur favorite team
The Seattle Mariners
Ahhh, you don't know what your talking about, Yankees all the way!!
well consider the yankees suck and they have for a couple seasons.... I wouldn't call that a "bandwagon"
+David Schneider Yankees are still the best team in the mlb 27 World Series nobody has more
Vin Scully’s call on the dodgers’ throw around errors is the funniest thing ever😂😂
"Here comes... Are you kidding?" Vin Scully with possibly one of the greatest calls of all time.
At 1:50 I can't believe the ump called Gomez safe
Yeah that was an awful call
Gomez was safe. Replay the video in slow motion. Hand touched home before being tagged
Kendrick Mott- Gomez’s hand was still on the batters box chalk line when he was initially tagged.
Its the white sox, their used to it 😂
(Mets fan) did you have to put a Met making a blooper in the thumbnail???
KERSHAW GETS OUT OF THE WAY LOL
ryan phillips you don't want to get out injured of your the best starter in the league
3:41
He goes from hero to greatest of all time!
That's what I didn't get
+Sawyer Springer they didn't mean G.O.A.T. They are old white guys they meant the actual animal goat.
That's what I thought 😂
Goat*
NFS topsnuf I know I was so confused😂
0:26 the good old days when my favourite team had almost sold out games
3:40 Uhhh goes from 'Hero' to 'Greatest Of All Time'? Someone send that commentator a link to urban dictionary 😂
elevate111 Goat is a slang for the the players who mess up like Castillo who made that error for the Mets against the Yankees to end the game. Or Bill Buckner. People who mess up in big situations it’s not just meant for “Greatest of all Time”
It's short for "scapegoat."
JL C right thank you
At 3:04, “are you kidding” 😂😂 gotta love Vin!
the pure disappointment mixed with disbelief is just too funny lol
Who else was hoping there team wouldn’t make an error?
I remember how bullshit the end of that WS game was
Don't even get me started
I haven't watched this video yet, but I'm guessing Buckner?
haha nvm was a red sox ws tho
You probably wouldn't think it was bullshit if you weren't a Red Sox fan. Intentionally or unintentionally impeding the runner is obstruction.
+Steve Smith Not if he had the right to the path of the ball, which he did.
I'm surprised that Daniel Murphy's errors in the World Series weren't in this video.
same
Yeah they were
Not to mention dudas throw home
2:58 Got to love how Vin Scully remains so calm!
Eypi Freeley He wasn't trying per se, but its still obstruction
Eypi Freeley but middle brooks wasn’t in the baseline
John Berg You are wrong lmao Just because he wasn’t trying to get in the way doesn’t mean its not obstruction. He was literally laying down and stuck his legs up in the base line and got in Allen Craig’s way. Therefore, it was obstruction and you’re blind or you just don’t know the rules of the game :)
I don't think he meant to, but it doesn't matter--the only thing that matters is the fact that Craig did indeed trip.
I think those complaining about the call are just Red Sox fans; it has nothing to do with the actual call, they just want the RS to win.
For all the shit Jim Joyce has gotten for the blown Armando Gallarraga perfect game, he nailed that WS obstruction call. One of the gutsiest WS calls probably ever.
Vin Scully trying not to laugh 💀😂
Gomez was out at home
Honestly, that is too close to call. The catcher had it until he took his foot off of the base before the catch.
But, it is near simultaneous that I would say the runner is safe.
what about Daniel Murphy in world series that's a good one
I respect the catcher at 1:53. He watched his team make a bunch of errors and then there was a close play and when the ump said no, he took it and let it go.
Vin scullys call is perfect
Wtf Dodgers that was painful to watch.
Leonel Remille the fans were like “ooooo” “ooooo” “OOooo :(“
Being an Astros fan must be an adventure
Just look at them now...
Bout to win there second WS
Best team in baseball now
Well... bang bang
When almost all these mistakes are the Astros👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼😬😬😬😬
The guy at 2:10 never even touched home
The PokeBallers its because the third baseman triped him
Ethan Casillas so stupid he didn’t trip him
He doesn't have to touch the plate. The umpire awarded him homeplate because of the obstruction.
Nathan Langseth actually he did watch it
Lol I thought it said amazing plays so I clicked on it and was so confused why there were so many bad plays
The play at the plate at 1:44 the runner should be out
yah I no
no slow the speed down he is safe right as the catcher catches the ball his hand in on the plate
Pause at 145
i have a screenshot of this where the cather has his glove on him and the runners hand just hasnt touched the plate yet
u are wrong dumnass
1:46 hes out by a split second
Gomez was out horrible call
once again thumbnail is not in video
Why does that matter? It's just a picture of a ball going under a glove
+Not Enough Baseball OK is there going to be a part 2
+TakeAShowerStinky same goes to you go take a shower stinky even your mom says too
+TakeAShowerStinky ya Daniel Murphy
+Not Enough Baseball it cost the mets the game and eventually the World Series it was a major error
2:48
“we’re up 8-1, doesn’t matter if we play like crap”
*gets scored on twice after three terrible throws*
KANSAS CITY HAS TIED IT IN THE EIGHTH!
the royals were never out of it.
Matt *insert name here* is fucking annoying
I love how these balls that are barely hit end up in the outfield because of bad throws. One day someone will accidentally throw it over the outfield wall.
2:12 he didn’t even touch the base lmao😂
but the third basemen blocked him from scoring so thats obstruction
mastergunner547 true true
Didn't matter as the catcher tagged him out, which caused the interference ruling to come into play.
6:27
3-nothing Jaentz.
Is it just me or is it almost always the Astros making the errors in the video?
2:11 HE NEVER TOUCHED THE PLATE WTF??!!
the ump called interference, said the 3b man slowed him down on purpose so it didn't matter if he touched or not he was awarded the plate for free
stuart budd ohhh alright thx lol
It doesn't matter if he did it on purpose or if he didn't mean to. Its still obstuction.
yeah
+stuart budd Well the third baseman slid to try to get the ball and the guy tried to get up and the guy slipped over him.
That play by puig and the dodgers was hilarious!
The Redsox one pissed me off that night. That was not obstruction it was just Craig fucking tripping
he tripped over a red sox player lying on the ground without the ball anywhere near him and when craig got up to go home the red sox player got in the way and interfered with craig's ability to run home
+Ryan Vicic a couple of things Craig is slow, and the third basemen had to move to get to the ball and was also pushed by Craig
he never touched home plate either
it was absolute shit but hey at least the Red Sox got the last laugh
13 year old me crying and screaming
15 year old me cringes still when watching the call
1:13 I'm really hoping he kicked that instead of throwing it
That call to the end the 2013 WS game is one of the worst calls I have ever seen
Yeah
It was absolutely the right call. You can't stick your feet up and trip someone, wether on purpose or not
I mean, it's undeniably the right call. The Right-field umpire said he could've called it from where he was.
Bos V. STL dude never touched homeplate... also 3rd basemen was recovering from a ball thrown.. not intentional obscursion
Intent does not matter. Obstruction was the correct call.
3:25 what a great moment for royals baseball. That 8th inning was a big screw up for the astros and allowed kc to win the game and then the series.
Clayton Kershaw is a wuss for jumping out the way instead of tagging the runner
I can’t be the only one who that this was outstanding ERRORS
No, just me? I’ll just go then
"From here to GOAT"
3:40
I don't think that's how a lot of people use the phrase GOAT (greatest of all time) He was obviously not the GOAT here haha
Francisco Pedrego exactly
Correa isnt even in goat conversation
"From hero to goat" isn't an uncommon phrase. Going from the very top (hero) to the bottom/ being the one who's blamed for everything going bad (goat, relating to scapegoat). Being a goat and being the GOAT are two different things.
0:30 i like the mariners! yay this makes me happy! hahaha
1:45 did this get overturned? He looks out from here
Mom: What do you want for dessert?
Me: 5:48
Nothing worse then seeing ur fav team make these errors
0:58 if you're a royals fan you know what I'm talking about SUPERMAN
6:12 some hustle right there by the right fielder.
right after seeing outstanding errors, you cant help but think of 86'..
We don't speak of that incident in New England.
1:51 I'm wearing his jersey right now omg lol
Gomez or Flowers
Better be flowers
This is just a video of who sucks more
where's lukas duda's world series error
When you see your team 3 times making errors and 1 not
3:58 yes I’m a cubs fan, but this shouldn’t be on here”. It was just a simple error. They happen all the time. Just a simple ground ball took a bad hop
Actually, two errors as even when they got the ball, they forgot the play was still alive so a second run scored.
Does that commentator know what GOAT means @3:40? Calls him a goat for making an error 😂😂😂
1:05 GREATEST THROW OF ALL TIME
Moustakas with a in the park homer
2:53 to 3:11 looks like my baseball team
2:47 reminds me of beer league softball lmao
Little League homers are the best; the the vladdy bounced base hit, classic; i know this is new school but Bob Brenly had the worst Best Day Ever, four errors and game-winning homer
dear compilation makers: what you do is awesome, but STOP REPEATING CLIPS!!!
Those are in the park homeruns
Those who are saying the runner does not have to touch the plate because he was obstructed are wrong.
Rule 5.06(b)(4)(I) Comment: The fact a runner is awarded a base or bases without liability to be put out does not relieve

5:52 "KINDA LIKE A DROP KICK, BUT WITH A BAT."
Announcer has clearly never seen a game of cricket before. That is the way cricket pitches are always thrown.
That's why I love baseball: these are called errors; not fouls or fumbles. Anything can happen, but still an error.
I dont watch baseball but: The call on the comedy of errors at 2:51 is the best thing I have ever seen/heard. The announcer sounds SO tired of the nonsense 😂😂😂😂
Coming from a Royals fan, I still don't consider that ground ball to Correa an error, it hit off of Sipp's glove and took a weird hop because of it
My sister was the catcher for her high school team so she didn't run very fast. She hit the ball 2 feet in front of home plate and got a home run out of it. They over throw 1st, 2nd, 3rd and home.
2:12
umpire gaze third baseman obstacle precisely .
professional judge!
Don’t make me relive Game Five. I was there, and it was one of the best and worst nights of my life. It hurt so much.
I’m a yankee fan and the first clip was the highlight of my day
Chris Games guess who beat u guys last year?
That interference call was absolute garbage. If that’s the case, then the runner interfered with the fielders ability to catch the ball. You have to be allowed to make a reasonable play on the ball.
Some of these would fit in a video on "Little League Home Runs"--2 or 3 errors allowing the batter to score.
The Correa error in the ALDS shouldn't have been scored an error, since it was deflected by Sipp.
