What is the difference between the food I put in my body and your message that entered from the “outside”. Of course it is my words and actions that defile me yet I am not saved by your words. I do agree that Jesus was calling for us to use Him as the great example. For He is the Word of God not the idol known as the Bible. How do you square this circle?
