  • Join us in this video as we explore, for the first time, the ice castle in Lincoln, New Hampshire! It is built ONLY with icicles. There are 4 locations across the US where you can visit one of these magical frozen castles only in the winter months! This place includes hallways & tunnels of ice you can walk through, an ice slide, a Christmas light-lined path through the woods, sleigh rides & a small tubing hill. AND it becomes even more beautiful at night when the ice is illuminated by glowing lights that change color!

    Nice! We did the new version of this, Winter Realms, in Wisconsin last weekend and it was fun! Looks like it was quite as expansive as the New Hampshire one but I would definitely go again, and try for tickets earlier in the season! :) Lesson learned.

    Wow, haven’t seen the NH Ice Castle yet. I have seen the Utah one also and we just went to the one in Wisconsin last week. Our family had a blast and our favorite thing was the slide.

    This video is so well edited and love it. I liked it when you guy went down the slide at the same time and filmed at the same time. I’m jealous of the light path. I don’t thinks we had that. Cool you guys were able to do the night also. We went at night and were blown away. Great video and keep up the great work. New sub to your channel.

      Thank you so much for watching and for the compliment! We’re still learning the whole video-making thing, but we’re having a great time documenting all the memories! We just checked out your ice castles Wisconsin video...it’s so cool to see how that on compares! Thanks again for following along! 😊

      @@bildeylife5181 I think we are almost 2 years into it with posting once a week. You guys are further along than 80% of the videos I watch. Doing it for yourself first is key!!! Keep up the great work.

    Hi! I'm going with my 2 daughters and husband on february, thanks for the video it helped me understand how is everything inside! what time did you go and how long did you stay there? My ticket window is from 2:30 to 3:00 pm I don't know if it would be too much time to wait for the light up at sunset..

      I'm glad you found the video helpful! We arrived at 3:30 and spent about 2 hours there. As adults, we felt there was plenty to do to keep us entertained...I'm sure your girls will find it even more fun than we did, haha! There was also a sledding hill and sleigh rides (which we didn't take advantage of) which would help fill up your time there. Have fun!

    I saw that the tickets are on 30-minute based. Does it mean if you want to see both day and night views, you have to buy tickets for different time entries? Thanks in advanced

    • @bildeylife5181
      @bildeylife5181  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 30 minutes is just the timeframe that you can enter, but once you’re in there’s no limit on how long you can stay. Hope that helps you out :)

    What would be the best time or the best month to visit that place?

    • @bildeylife5181
      @bildeylife5181  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are only open for about two months in the winter (January and February). We went the first weekend they were open…I would try to do that as I’m not sure how well it holds up throughout the weeks with all the foot traffic and bad weather. Hope that helps! :)

    • @bildeylife5181
      @bildeylife5181  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe they’re only open through January and February (weather dependent). We went opening weekend in January. I’m sure any time during those two months would be good :)

    • @bildeylife5181
      @bildeylife5181  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Masks were required for entry in January 2021. Looks like they changed that for this season though :)
