- We're trying out the 2022 Harvest Fest tasting pass food selections as well as viewing the Great Pumpkin LumiNights displays. We also got to meet up with John and Bobbie from J & B In the Hills. They were so incredibly kind and even invited the boys to help with their famous "J & B Have Left the Building" outro.

I came across J & B channel tonight & like them. So then I checked your channel out to see what you did. Ended up subscribing to both channels. Your oldest son is a good food reviewer. Henry stoled my heart with the chicken dance. The food looked good.✌️👍🤗💖

Man opening weekend! Wish we lived just a little bit closer
We wish that we lived closer too. 3 hours is still just far enough where we get a hotel. The benefit now is that there's a Buc-ees in Crossville, which is a half way stop for us and makes the trip a little easier. Thanks for watching.

The pumpkin pie punch is so good! If you enjoy pumpkin pie, the punch is amazing! We had a great time hanging out with John and Bobbie. They are such great people and invited the boys to help with their outro in their Granny Ogle's video at Dollywood. Man, we will just miss you guys in Gatlinburg - We'll be up next week but will be leaving town right before you guys get into town. We hope that you guys have an awesome trip and if you do some filming there, we will be looking forward to your videos.

We also enjoyed the pumpkin pie punch, but you may want to purchase that separately and save your pass for higher priced food. We hope that you have a great trip to Dollywood. Your boys are such good eaters. Looks like you were able to try some different foods for sure. Henry was definitely ready to try the pumpkin bisque. Loved Mrs. Lillian and the boys! So cute! I noticed you were eating throughout the park with your Harvest Fest tasting pass. How long of a wait did you have waiting for the food? Just curious. Looks like such a fun day.
Thank you guys. Henry couldn't wait to try that pumpkin bisque. With the tasting pass, there was no lines at all. They had stanchions at every tasting pass booth but there wasn't anyone in any of the lines except for Iron Horse Pizza - there was 1 family ahead of us for the pumpkin pizza. When we went in the spring, there were a few lines for tasting pass foods but nothing longer than 2 or 3 minute wait times. We appreciate you guys for watching and hope that you have a great evening.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV The reason we were asking was because the lines were so long for food on our recent visit to Kings Dominion.
@@vafunseekers we had a similar experience at Hershey Park - Over 2.5 hours of our day at their park was waiting in line for food. It was very disorganized at Hershey Park but Dollywood has the efficiency part down pat. We’re sorry to hear that you guys had a bad experience with the lines at King’s Dominion.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV We use to have to wait for the corndogs and fries at Dollywood. Of course there is always a line for the cinnamon bread. Glad y'all didn't experience long wait times for the food pass.

Hope you can answer this question about the tasting pass from a first-timer - going this weekend! So, these look like full-size items. But when I called Dollywood to ask about the tasting pass, the lady I spoke with said they are not full-sized, they are samples. But that "by the time you eat them, you are full." Well, I definitely wouldn't ordinarily spend $35 to get full, haha, even at a theme park. The food does look great though!
I'd love a recommendation for how we (5 adults) could eat really well for one meal and maybe a snack, on a budget!
The sample ("tasting") portions are the same size portions as the full price items. We watched someone behind us pay the full price for the same chili that was included on the tasting pass. Some of the tasting pass items are not filling if you're aiming for a meal. If you're looking for a meal, we recommend Granny Ogles. It's an "all you care to eat" restaurant that used to be a buffet. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. We hope that you have an awesome trip! The weather is so nice right now here in Tennessee.
If you're looking for a budget meal in Dollywod, you should check out Granny Ogles. J & B In the Hills recently posted a video about this restaurant and they had some really nice portion sizes and the meals were very inexpensive. Have a great trip to Dollywood, Linda.
