Not to overanalyze but one interesting thing about their relationship that probably doesn’t help with the Emotional Constipation, is that the first time they met Blitz was literally being sold to Stolas’ family for Stolas’ birthday (being worth a waded up five and a slim fit condom also couldn’t have been good for Blitz’s confidence). And being a royal, Stolas doesn’t have the same perspective of things that Blitz has. Blitz sees it as just some royal Goetia who wanting to fucc a novelty peasant. Stolas doesn’t realize that that’s how Blitz sees it. Sure he treated Blitz as a play thing, he even said so himself. But then he developed actual feelings for Blitz. But because of Blitz’s trauma he doesn’t think he can be loved, especially by someone as high and mighty as Stolas. Also don’t even get me started on the symbolism in this show.
