Your video is SO real! I clean up before my housekeeper comes too and I need her EVERY week. You're speaking real. Same comment about hubby. So real!

Remote work is what has kept me working! The flexibility it gives especially cos two are in School but I must say something has to give😅 it’s the mess in the house

Yeesss. Remote work has really changed things up. Its the best of both worlds...getting paid and getting that 'breathing room' to be intentional with things...but then again I wouldn't know. I think this is a good topic for u to do because you have a lot of experience with different work modes and you've done it as your family grew.

You are so right on the point of getting a cleaner. The Nigerian in me wouldn’t let me do it especially with me having kids who I trained to know how to keep their spaces tidy.

When I look at the price, I'm like, am I working to pay cleaners? Lol but honestly, I'm forcing myself to see it as necessary expense to avoid loosing my mind[if I were working]

You know, I looked into that a while back but decided against it at the time. Other than 'tax benefit', it isn't much different from a regular investment account. I might look into it again. Spouse's 401k/Retirement is considered community property[in some states] so if there's a divorce(God forbid), I'll be good.
Thanks for the info - It's a great topic to discuss.

Right? It happened exactly a yr after I quit. I would have had my cake and eaten it too smh. But I rest in knowing that 'my steps are ordered' 😉

This is such a hard to explain discussion… I am so glad you have experienced both side of it and have a lot of wisdom to share! Nevertheless I have tried so many times to quit and stay home fully but you see that money it’s a whole other level of motivation 😅
You are AWESOME and we all are regardless our choices🤎

The 💰 🤑 💸...say no more 😆I completely understand. That's why I never recommended either one because it's a complex issue. It's not a one size fits all
