Paula is such a down to earth person. I had a brief encounter with her in Westwood at a restaurant. She was very kind and polite to everyone.

I met her in LA in 1989 while she was filming in front of a building that said “Motown.” My best friend and I were 12 years old and walked up to ask for her autograph. A cop guarding the shoot stopped us but she told him to let us go to her. She signed, “Live, Love, and Dance” and her name. I couldn’t agree with you more.
The gentleman not only met Paula Abdul, but fist bumped her twice and got dismissed. What a day!

Paula is a sweetheart! She was so sweet to me when I met her at the TDGARDEN. She was at a Celtics game with her boyfriend who is from Rhode Island. This was back in 2013. She gave me a huge hug and said some kind words. Loved meeting her! 🙌🏾❤️

It was either 2013 or 2014. She was happy and beautiful and the gentleman with her was also very nice and pleasant. Beautiful smile like the judge, so maybe it was his son. Just love this judge! When rona is under control (vaccine) I would love to visit his courtroom as a spectator.

I had to go in front of him when I was 19 as a single mother making only $4.25 an hour. I am now 42. He could not believe that my mothers friend and my landlord would get these parking tickets. At the time she would leave for work at 4 am and return earlier then me. I could not get up that early and we had to park in a row. So, I gave her a copy of my key and she moved my car out but was not parking it back. Her GF was taking the tickets off of my car before I left at 6 30 am for work. I have $600 of tickets and he reduce them to $60. I also, had a witness that she saw them do this. He is a fair judge and person!

That gentleman’s smile is infectious. Good moves, decent voice, and best of all, he was willing to play along to get the case dismissed. Good on you brother. And good on the judge and the guest there for giving him grace and making him feel welcome.
That was great. I truly hope this judge is blessed beyond measure.
I had a judge like this in a case when I was losing my house, he asked if I still worked and I said my wife even helps me, I need to go up ladders to do my job, and he said I hope your wife doesn’t go up the ladder, I said no she stands on the bottom and just yells at me....he laughed...and he gave me 6 more months in my house when I should have been gone in two weeks...there are good people out there.

There was, indeed, a time when a man's word was his bond, for instance. When a handshake meant a deal. And, many more such ways of behavior and sense of morality and ethics which no longer exist.
This is beautiful and fun at the same time. What a guy. What a judge. What a star. All together in love and respect. I needed this today.

What people don’t know about this man is he truly is this way in real life. It’s not for the sake of the show. He puts himself in everyone’s shoes. He takes the bus an hour to work everyday even though he has plenty of money for cars! He’s as humble as it gets. He now partially owns one of my fave restaurants in Rhode Island and he’s always there eating dinner. He’s a gem.

My favorite one I think was the one with the 90+ gentleman who only drives when his son has to go for cancer treatments. My heart broke for him. The son lives with his father and the judge said, "You still take care of your child".

I love this series. It’s so soothing and stress relieving. As someone who suffers from mental illness and who has had thoughts about alienating from society, I know that choosing to be part of society is the most logical decision one can make. You are safe, people love you, even when you don’t feel like it. Appreciate why we have society, it can be very healthy. We need more jurists like him.

She also has a disability called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy it it extremely painful ALL the time. My mother has it and some of the medication used to help causes odd side effects. My mother has a pain pump in her back because of it. It is very hard to watch someone in that kind of pain and not be able to help
