Arielle is so sweet. I played Jasmine in my local theatre's production of "Aladdin Jr.", and when I was auditioning for the role, a boy told me not to get my hopes up because of my weight. A hundred kids tried out, forty five made it, and I got Jasmine. :) it was amazing! When Arielle was releasing her 'Speechless' video, I messaged her on Instagram telling her how big of an inspiration she is. I told her about that boy, and how on August second, when she was releasing the video of 'Speechless', was opening night for us. She told me not to listen to that boy, and to channel my anger into Jasmine's frustrations about ssociety. She then told me that I would do amazing, and I did! The show is over now, and I miss it so much. I appreciate Arielle Jacobs' kindness so much. Be kind to people you meet. That's a lesson for everyone, because even a simple smile and wave can make someone's day. :) Jasmines unite!

I am sorry I have to address this but it must be stated. Linda Larkin only provided the speaking voice for Jasmine. Lea Salonga is the one who sang for the character.
And they both approve of Ms.Jacobs's interpretation.

I’ve seen both her and her in their roles. Adam 4 times (including toronto) and Arielle once. I met Arielle and she’s so nice!!! Those two were born for the roles! Just not at the same time obvi😂

Silver54ful I know this was 8 months ago but I actually saw her last night you’re right I loved her and got to talk to her afterwards at the stage door and got a picture with her! She’s seriously incredible I didn’t want the show to end mostly just of how incredible she is

I really hope Jasmine has this song in the upcoming Live action remake.
They won’t, the point is to keep Broadway separate from the films. That’s what makes it so special. Alan Menken specifically wrote these songs for the broadway experience. There will be 1 new song we hear that he wrote for the new film. can’t wait to see it!

I just went to see Aladdin in LA but the actress who played Jasmine was more like a tomboy and a little too chubby for Jasmine and didn't have a classy characteristic that Jasmine has. It was disappointing. Arielle is so perfect for Jasmine and I wish she could play in LA. I know that Adam and Arielle are siblings and might be weird to see them kissing but they would be so perfect for Aladdin and Jasmine. 💕

i dont think it was necessary to say someone is chubby. if it was izzy mccalla she is healthy and arielle is also healthy no need to nitpick about people’s figures/weight 🙁 we should only be critiquing emotion and singing ability not subjective standards of appearances.
