No apologies necessary to us viewers. Julie, if you decide to keep each and every one of your beautiful dishes, that's great. You're such a hard-working woman. Doing everythlkming to keep a beautiful clean home for you and your family. Again, thank you for opening your home and decorating ideas. God bless you. XOXOXO
Girl, I really need to do a room by room deep clean. I’m 63 and care for my 93 y dad, and he still lives at home. It’s just too much for me to take care of his needs plus keep 2 houses clean. My health won’t allow it anyway. But I want to do it! I need to do it. I admire your hard work!! I love your videos!
Oh the struggle is real! I love dishes too. I have several bowls I really like and can't part with. They are definitely harder to decorate with but have tried to use them for random things like a cute dish to put keys in, used in refrigerator to hold cherry tomatoes or even adding some small Christmas balls in one and then mixing into a holiday shelf. Sometimes have used a plate holder to stand it upright if a really cute pattern wanted to see. Just a few ideas 😉 You are inspiring me to do a big clean out. Nice to do prior to new seasons. Love idea of storing extra dishes in box or baskets. Nice way to use decor in a functional way. Thanks for all great ideas!
Oh Julie, your chickens are beautiful. I loved the little black and white one that looks almost spotted. Now I am 78 and I have a huge decluttering job to do. But mine is a storage shed and I can’t work out in the heat. Hopefully, I can get it done between cool and cold temperatures. Love all the videos
Hi Julie! I have an idea for you! I have been collecting plates to use as an edge to a flower garden in my yard. I think it will be beautiful and I can enjoy my collection everyday during the warm weather. Thought you might want to do the same sinc 3:19 e you love your dish collection as well!
I collect the blue and white courier and Ives dishes like you have in your chest you were going through. My mom had them and I add to the collection when I find them thrifting.
Hi Julie! You just gave me an idea about a corner in my kitchen. But I'd have to find a picnic basket and a big doily. I have a statuette of a kitchen maid with my broom propped up next to her. The basket can serve as extra storage with the maid sitting on top. Oh well I'm still thinking on it. You have a great day and stay cool ❤.
Good evening !! Lol the hens are so cute!!! Thanks for showing them . Such sweet cats too !! I am absolutely loving all these videos! Your channel is like an addiction! Can’t get enough !! Love it . I’m glad you said you loved your stuff once but not as much now.. you just confirmed my own dilemma about the need to clear out without feeling ‘ guilt’ !! We all get tired of stuff or just want to change style. It’s only human . You DO have lovely things. I’m watching thinking -I’ll take that !!! Dishes are also my weakness. I’m always moving things around. Well thanks again . Look forward to the next ! God bless you , all your family -and your stamina !! ❤Marilyn x
It is hard to go through forgotten items. When I see them instead of thinking I haven't used them for several years, I think, oh my goodness, I still need these! Then I keep them and get rid of nothing. I love the blue and white Currier and Ives' dishes. We have my husband's grandparents set. They were their "everyday" dishes. We were really surprised when we visited and used them.
I did not know about the apple cider vinegar in the water container. Thank you! I am surprised you did not keep the little crock for Christmas and place a small tree in it. I have one of the brown pattern iron stone (fall) salad size plates. I love the pattern. I have my salt lamp sitting on it for fall.
I understand your pain , I love dishes too. I have lots of dishes , love your channel and your normal life. I live in NC on a farm and understand your lifestyle.
Dearest Julie, Thank you for your wonderful sharing of your life in videos. Has anyone ever told you you have the most lovely and gentle hands? They are so expressive when you talk. Love to you and your fine family. Marcie from Oregon.
Love seeing your chickens! I enjoy watching you go through your things. I wish I could get motivated like you are. Like always, thanks for inviting us into your home. I enjoy the little “visits”.
Love the chickens and cats. I have one cat. He is sweet but keeps me busy cleaning hair and litter. I can vacuum a cat up everyday.😜 I like to clean, organize, declutter in both the hot weather and cold weather seasons. I tell myself if I do both it will be easier . I’ve heard decluttering is like working a muscle the more you do it the easier it gets. I don’t know? 🤷♀ You can’t prove it by me yet.😜 You do inspire me and make me want to get these things done in my own home. Thanks Ms Julie.
The green dishes with the fireplace on them is the same pattern that my late mother in law had, and now I have them. If you want to sell them, I'll buy them from you.
I can totally sympathisize with you about hot and humid weather. I live in Ontario, Canada and our summers are horribly hot and humid!! We hit 30*C most days and the humidity is horrible. My husband and I are seniors and we live in a apartment building with most of tenants we remain away from and where this is no a/c.!!! We have used a portable a/c but it cools one room and that is not nearly enough. That and the fact that our apartment faces south exposure and are bedrooms are on the west exposure makes it unbearable. It is being in an oven all the time! We are trying to find a whole house that we can rent but the prices here are way beyond our means. To add to this, our property managment is not doing repairs as their staff are quiting and so we wait! We are excellent tenants but this means nothing to these people anymore. I look forward to an economy collapse to bring things back to a more even playing field where tenants hold the winning hand.
Hi Julie!!! Stopped at the women's shelter, as I'm going in , a surprise!your daughter Elizabeth was coming out along with a few freinds...was a nice surprise cause there's times I hope to run into you... maybe one day,but my husband and I don't get out much..don't be in a big hurry to get rid of anything unless you don't have the room to store...past times I did get rid and regreted....thanks for sharing!!!!
I got rid of a couple of dishes that didn’t live anymore and on the other side put my waffle maker , magic bullet and hand held blender in that cabinet that I don’t use everyday and freed up some room for items I do . Love this series of cleaning and decluttering each room.
Be brave in decluttering! You will feel so much lighter! I have thinned out most of my dishes except for the ones for daily use. I stay away from collecting decor plate sets anymore as my space becomes too cluttered. In the reality of things, how many dishes do you really need?
I'm really enjoying your decluttering I use to be like you but I decluttered to the point I'm a minimalist now but I'm alot older than you and I just couldn't do it anymore but I enjoy other people doing it
You are not the only one who does this but a saucer always has a rim or indentation in the centre to hold a cup. A bread and butter plate is smaller than a salad plate and does not have a rim to hold a cup.

I’ve bordered my flower garden with my favorite plates. I also can’t give them up.

I use my blue and white plates for decor during summer with the red, white and blue them. They look so good like that!
I struggle with getting rid of dishes too!

Awe, Thank you! 😊
It really helps to separate your different season dishes. Thanks for giving good ideal for storing and separate decor dishes ❤❤❤❤
My pleasure 😊 Thank you for watching 😊
Great job Julie! Like you, dishes are my downfall. It's sooo hard to declutter them.
I love your green picnic basket.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful job🩵🤍🤎 If you love the items you have curated, you should keep them💯😊
Yes! Thank you!
Love seeing your chickens! I enjoy watching you go through your things. I wish I could get motivated like you are. Like always, thanks for inviting us into your home. I enjoy the little “visits”.
Thank you so much!
Those are some healthy looking chickens.
Yes, they like to eat lol.
Looking at all those dishes is making me nervous for you . I’m just so scared they’re gonna break 😮
Love the chickens and cats. I have one cat. He is sweet but keeps me busy cleaning hair and litter. I loved the blue bowl. You have some pretty dishes.
Thanks so much! 😊
Girl, the struggle is real with decluttering...
I cannot get rid of dishes! I just thrift more. Lol. But I do use them all.
The green dishes with the fireplace on them is the same pattern that my late mother in law had, and now I have them. If you want to sell them, I'll buy them from you.

I literally change/ put fresh water in for our dogs . After I rinse the bowl out first.
Beautiful collection!
Thank you!

That is awesome! She came home and told me 😁. So fun!
Yes I decluttered my serving table cabinets.
I got rid of a couple of dishes that didn’t live anymore and on the other side put my waffle maker , magic bullet and hand held blender in that cabinet that I don’t use everyday and freed up some room for items I do . Love this series of cleaning and decluttering each room.

I ordered off Amazon some plastic dish storage buns and labeled for holidays like Christmas Thanksgiving and so on
Great idea!! What are they called?
Oh also I've seen jewelry made from broken China. I passed up on a jewel piece and have regretted ever since.
Am I the only one that wants that beautiful wooden box?
Aww! Keep that tiny crock! Or maybe one of your girls will rescue it.
I had a set of Currier and Ives dishes with serving pieces, pie plate etc. I sold them at auction when we moved. I still regret selling them.😢
🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

If you have room for it why get rid of it if it make your heart happy??? Just keep it ..❤
You parted with more than i thought you would.
The struggle was real!

How do you keep from chipping and breaking your dishes!
I’m just gentle I guess.
Send all the stuff you don’t want to me!
