- I OWN NOTHING! Music is by Michael Giacchino and is from The Batman Soundtrack. This is a compilation of the Vengeance Theme. This is technically part of Batman's Theme, just like how Bruce Wayne's Theme is also part of Batman's Theme, but I decided separate the two melodies so that you can experience the different emotions each piece conveys. Unlike the Bruce Wayne Theme, this theme is dark and angry. The Vengeance Theme resembles the fear Batman evokes and the growing rage that drives him. Enjoy!

The movie was the best Batman movie made to date. It’s the first true detective movie.
I always said that the best Batman movie will be one like SE7EN. Remove Pitt and Freeman, replace with Batman, (maybe also robin) switch out Spacey for Mr. Szasz. And you would have a Batman movie to rock them all...
When I heard this was being done following loosely The Long Halloween, I knew this was on the right track.
When I heard this was being directed by the same guy who did SE7EN? I knew right then and there, this was the movie I was waiting for...I was not disappointed...

It’s a simple, but great theme. I think it was great how some of Batman’s scenes almost had a horror sound to them instead of a hero theme. I really loved the way the movie presented “the Batman” to us.
I love how the theme is actually both; it obviously sounds dark and oppressive but it's also melancholic to demonstrate Bruce's real struggles and his arc of growth and inspiration too, showing that Batman becomes a symbol of hope and heroism too not just Vengeance, after all he's not just thing:
*I Am Vengeance, I Am The Night, I Am Batman"*

Love the way you describe it. It’s similar to Batman’s theme in Arkham origins when we first meet him. His introduction in Origins literally sounds like he’s the horror villain of the story, then it becomes triumphant and heroic by the end.
Listening to this on your headphones doesn't do it justice. Go to the theatre to really experience vengeance.

They showed it in a lesser degree in _The Dark Knight_ (movie), where just seeing the signal and the criminal said 'not this night'. In this movie, they hyped up the paranoia fear up to 12.

Tell me there’s a better way to start off a Batman movie
I think we can all agree this is the best beginning of any batman movie and in my opinion it has the best beginning among every superhero movies. I absolutely love the ending and for me it stands along with dark knight's ending in the top.

Finally, the rage, grief and pain driven Batman I've been waiting for all these years.
This is my personal favorite Batman movie theme, the way it builds him up in the opening and other scenes as almost as an unstoppable slasher-film villain while also incorporating heavy Shirley Walker BTAS influences, made it one of the most impeccable blockbuster main themes I've ever heard.

The Batman is by far the best superhero movie to ever exist. The acting, to the score, to the cinematography, all of it is just so fantastic. This film has taken The Dark Knight's spot for me. Thank you Matt Reeves for making this beautiful masterpiece of a comicbook film, I'm excited to see what you do next with this wonderful world. The Batman gets a solid 10/10

I wouldn't say it was the best Batman movie. The Dark Knight still holds that title imo. But it is definitely up there with the Nolanverse. The Riddler was never in my top favorite Batman villains, but after seeing this, I'm going to have to reevaluate that list.
Well talking about the main character. This is by far my favourite batman in movies.
@@UchihaShesui I actually preferred Paul Dano's Riddler in The Batman, i found him a lot more threatening and overall a lot more creepier then any version of The Joker yet. Heath's Joker was amazing but i never really found him creepy. Both amazing but i just loved the Riddler in The Batman.

There are times where it felt almost like a funeral dirge, which was especially fitting when whoever Batman is facing watches him slowly approach from the shadows. Goosebumps, man
This theme playing while it showed him in a red lit room putting on his eye shadow and suit gave me chills all over. Probably one of the best beginnings to a Batman/superhero movie ever

I just love how this movie is called "The Batman". Really emphasises how Batman is essentially a myth when he first appears in Gotham.
I love how he was actually using his detective skills. I loved how it was a gritty crime drama. Riddler was great. Batman was great. Can’t wait for the sequel.

This is the Batman film I've been waiting my entire life to see. It is a masterpiece. Brutal, emotional and so very relevant for current times.
For me, this theme is very reminicent of Darth Vader's theme from Star Wars (Imperial March). That really added to the "Who is really the hero here?" feeling I had through the entire film.
The composer did say this theme was inspired by the imperial march

Yes!!! Thank you! I keep catching little pieces of the score that reminded me greatly of both Elfman's scores for Batman and Batman Returns. Especially some of the pieces for Catwoman, very reminiscent of Selina Kyle's theme(s) from Returns. Glad I wasn't the only to take notice of this! Good ears on ya my fellow Bat-Fan...good ears.

Just the slow and steady steps out of the darkness... criminals expecting him to walk out of the shadow anywere. The how he just stares silently... just awesome!

I can’t get enough of this theme. It makes me think methodically and act somewhat precarious in nature.

The dark knight theme is inspirational and motivational to listen to. But this theme screams "vengeance"
I was not very impressed by the actor before heading out to the movies . As an ardent fan of DC and Batman , I think Robert Pattinson blew my head off and the movie was way beyond awesome .
He has proven to be an extremely good actor in recent years, it's just unfortunate that most people know him from Twilight.

This song is one of the few songs that managed to give me goosebumps on my face
This film was so well crafted that it was treat for Batman fans to experience such a masterful depiction of an early years Batman. The music was an absolute highlight of the film and created a sense of emersion I have never experience before.
Listening to this in the day or with the lights on it’s super cool. But then I listened to Can’t fight City Halloween in my pitch black room and it was the scariest experience of my life lmao.
Can't wait to watch this movie tomorrow.

A powerful theme. Mostly escalating drums and horns, and strings ~ things that you'd hear in a horror movie. However it works so well. The Batman is so wound-up very very tight in this film... He's not very human at all - he's a ticking bomb that no one knows when it's going to go off. Thank you Flash Music !!

Anyone noticed Michael Reworked the 66 Adam West theme into a horror movie rendition of the Batman’s theme with cues taken from the 89 theme?
Brilliant and resourceful, gave it new life for this version of Batman, while acknowleging the foundations.
Same chords as the Nirvana Song in the movie. And some similarities to the imperial march. Very effective!

That's interesting... Aside some marvellous soundtrack about, it's first time Bruce Wayne/Batman PTSD is put in music; powerlessness, anger, frustration, fear, rage, shock, guilt, despair, relief and revenge all in one: even more interesting is an orphaned child, who trains to be the best hand to hand fighter in comics didn't resolve to beat villains to death.

Robert was great as Batman. People were trippin’ about him playing Batman cause if was a Twilight movie star. “It won’t work!” people said. Critics said the same thing about Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck. “Keaton can’t play Batman! He’s a stand up comedian who does comedy movies. It won’t work!” “Affleck sucks! He sucked as Daredevil!” Look how that turned out for him when they got the role. It turned out great for them as well.

I like the score but that would be a travesty. This theme is a blatant copy of The Imperial March by John Williams (which is probably why I like it). He just took the first bar and looped it. Notes are exactly the same.

I know man, Dune in 2021 and this masterpiece, I’m from Morocco and to be honest I really cared much for superhero movies, I always liked a “ hero” yes but one you could relate too. The dark knight rises was spectacular and all, this is in my opinion. The most visceral, Dark, anxiety inducing fuckkng masterpiece. It was such a true salute to cinema as it should be felt and experienced.

This theme may be similar to The Imperial March, but not to the point of being "a blatant copy." He didn't "just [take] the first bar and [loop] it," and the notes are not "exactly the same." Several of the notes are noticeably different, they're played slower, and the motif in general has a very different tone from The Imperial March. Besides, there's more to the score than just this theme.
