Thank you for actually doing a comprehensive explanation of what you have AND how and why you use what you use. So many boat tours end up being about money spent, not actual usages. THANK YOU SCOTT!
See you guys in Cumberland. Scott, you probably don’t remember but I went fishing with my great uncle, you and your dad in Alabama back in the early 80’s. My uncle was a pro and hung out with your dad he was in Alabama. My boys are so excited to meet you and Brandon. See you guys at Cumberland.
Thanks Scott, this video is like taking a tour of your best buddies new boat and enjoying it with him to the max. I like the idea of the lower weight batteries. A lot of people can use that logic, if not now when their batteries die. Thanks also for your loyalty to Evinrude and other suppliers. God bless you at Cumberland and always!
I want to thank you mr.martin for taking my fishing game to a whole new level. Instead of catching only one or two bass per day I’m catching a dozen or more. Thanks
Guys I'm sure Scott won't mind me mentioning this, but Roland has a couple of recent very nice videos out and I'm sure he would appreciate the views and comments and hitting the subscribe and like buttons. He's a true legend of fishing and enjoyable to watch. And really amazing for me to watch . I'm 61 and my rear end stays pretty much parked in the boat seat. He is still up there standing and going strong. Thanks all!!!
Love the new ride. My daddy’s second cousin work for Ranger Boats for probably close to 30 years as a transport driver. When he wasn’t hauling them he was testing them. As he like to say. I get paid to purposely try to destroy it and look for weakness. Anyway love the videos. Keep up the fun
Love the setup. Even love how anal you are about your gear. Love watching you fish. Wish we had bass here in Virginia Beach like y'all do there. Brother, I've added you to my prayer list. I'm a disabled veteran and that's something I can do to help others. God bless you and I hope to hear your shout, "It's a big one, it's a big one" lots! Many blessings out there to you bro!
502L has a shorter rear casting area due to the increased seating area. The console is different (better in most peeps opinions), and the front deck lip is taller from the carpet to top. Few other smaller differences, but those are the major ones. Also holds 8 more gallons fuel than the 520C
Just a bit more advanced than my '97 Astro ..... But it is still getting the job done. Thanks for the tour. Hope to see you posing in it with this year's FLW Cup!
I was wondering when this video was coming out! Awesome set up, I love the Z520L! When I ran into you guys, I had the opportunity to climb up in the Z521L on display down at Lake Harris.
I would be prepared for tough conditions and cold water at Cumberland. Not many lakes in Kentucky right now are in the fiftys. I only live a couple hours north of Cumberland but all of Kentucky has been cold this winter and spring. I hope you do good when you get there!
You already know but I gotta say it - that is a Sweeeet new ride you got there! Maybe the only thing left is to hook up the HydroWave to the Kicker system :-D Oh yeah THAT should really put those fish into the mood and call them in from miles around! :-D ha! Keep up the great work.
That's one awesome boat, absolutely love the huge deck and the tons of storage,to bad I'll never have the credit or money to buy a awesome boat like that!
Hey Scott, I’m sure it has been mentioned before but I think a road to pro video would be awesome. Maybe you could give aspiring anglers tips and basic info on what it takes to break into the industry. I love videos like this one (your new boat video) and would love to see more videos like this. Thanks a bunch for doing what you do, and keep at it. Austin Ingalls.
Nice boat, Scott! Did you sell other one? My Dad always had Ranger Boats, in fact he went to Flippen for one of them. He passed away in April 2010, so I received most of his fishing stuff. I have many lures boxes and boxes. Some are wood, some were my Grandpa's too! My sister has my Dad's last Ranger boat, plus he had the aluminum Cherokee, which was a nice boat as well. Good luck at this tournament !!!
Love the boat and your videos Scott. I wish I could afford a boat like that, but I make the best of my ‘86 Bass Tracker Guide V16. It takes me a while to get there but I catch them when I get there.
Yo Scotty TJ! My vacation falls in line with your practice days on Cumberland. I know I'll be in some areas you'll be checking out. Hope to catch you on the water. The lake is about 5 FT above summer pool and a lot of areas are mudholes. Cleaner water will be key methinks.
Hope you do good in the tournament I fished Cumberland for the past week and it Has been really good. Caught most of the smalleys on a red crankbait on points
Awesome boat scott. My buddy and i crank up the tunes on our way to our spots too. Usually turn down or off when the fishin begins. Couple times we thought it attracted them.. But damn that boat is sexy. I dream of havin one like it one day. Rock on man!! love your vids. Keep catchin and posting vids.
Man. That's a beautiful boat... I kno you won last year at Cumberland Lake... I watch it all the time... I hope and pray for you, that you win again... Mr. Martin please if you would put a little prayer for me , that I'll win a bass boat.. I'm in a bass pro contest.. Thank you and Good luck and have fun.... We'll be watching....
i will be leaving the house around 2am to get there and see you guys off. finally got a day off so i will be there, hopefully i will see you there and get a pic with my son,,,, good luck
Nice video, got some good ideas for my boat... my boat is a surplus world war II US Navy destroyer, with Lowrance navionics... get that stereo set up and play some Richie Kotzen rolling down the lake...
Helpful video for anyone going for it with a sweet new boat. In the market to replace my 80 something Princecraft aluminum fishing boat. Looking at a 2012 Ranger but I live and fish on Lake Champlain so deal a lot with waves and like to go up the river near goose n gander often so thinking to stick with aluminum with a bit deeper V than a fiberglass bass boat. Anyway useful info thanks for all the videos. Not looking forward to running out, hope they get me to the thaw!
A craftsman makes his living with his tools. Dude...them’s some nice tools!!! Shout out to my son Eric Andrews who’s in 11th place after day one of the Ray Scott ABA championship on the red river in La. Hope he brings home the new Triton and a crapload of cash!
cumberland was one of my favorite videos from last year and i have figured it out....the reason you won was the girl scout cookies, stock up and you'll have the best year yet lol. good luck
My dream so until then I’ll keep running my Javelin with a ‘95 Evinrude that still has 120lbs per cylinder. You are correct Scott Evinrude makes the best motor period.
Beautiful boat Scott, hey man can you get Brian Latimer on your chanel sometime, with a challenge or something. You are both great guys and I was thinking that you could really help out his TH-cam chanel. Love you Scott and your family awesome mom and dad, not to mention your wife and children. O ya and Brandon too, haven't seen him for a while. Have a great season, and Praise the Lord.
In addition to all the great information you’ve given to us here, which is greatly appreciated. What camera and production software do you use? Unless you’d rather not say.
Same baot, lol. These bass boats are kitted, but have more wiring than the pentagon. I always like bare minimum. I have a tiller steer manual start out board, a trolling motor and 1 fish finder. 2 wires run my electric. The only problems i have to worry about is staying on the water to long. 5 gallon gas tank, ive never used more than 2.5 in a day.
HOOKEM IN THE MOUTH.......Hey Bro, go check out "the TWIN TROLLER X-10" small fishing boat......TRUST ME. Tons of videos about em right here on youtube, including their own "Twin Troller" channel. I'm 56 yrs old, been living & fishing in central Fl since 1969, mainly for bass. I fish for bass now more than ever. I've owned boats from canoes & jonboats to a couple bass boats, one of em I bought brand new back in '04, had to sell it 7 yrs later to save our home during that recession. I had no choice. That SUCKED. Bought my Twin Troller in October of 2016. I LOVE IT. I can assure you, there is NOTHING "gimmicky" about the Twin Troller. BEST small boat with AWESOME patented "in-hull propulsion" system you run & steer with 2 simple foot pedals. It spins circles ON AXIS. You can go straight BACKWARDS. You can hold PERFECT positions in wind & current EFFORTLESSLY......all with 2 foot pedals that steer & operate the 2 HIDDEN & PROTECTED saltwater-grade MotorGuide trolling motor heads. 2 men can't capsize the Twin Troller if they tried, seriously. UNsinkable too. VERY comfortable & 2 anglers can sit or stand. You can add an optional small outboard like I did. FISH ALL DAY on a single battery charge!!! Buy the BASE model. It comes ready to fish......just add a series 29 deep cycle marine battery. I did the math, if ya buy the base model & add your own simple depth finder, cleats, 2 rod holders, & onboard battery charger, you SAVE $300 from buying the model that comes equipped with those. 10' long x 4' wide.....VERY stable. You can trailer it OR slide it in the bed of a pick-up truck & use their custom dolley to wheel it to the water. Boat weighs 175 lbs. Do NOT be put off by the price, it's worth every penny & begins paying for itself the first time out & lasts a lifetime. IT COSTS NOTHING to operate & NO maintenance!!! ( Simply charge the battery at home. Plus I can go 20 MILES on a single gallon of gas using my outboard to get where I'm going a little faster. I use the electrics & foot pedals to fish. ) I wouldn't trade my Twin Troller for anything. I actually catch MORE bass ( including big bass ) than any other boat I owned. It runs in only 7 INCHES of water. Goes right over & through fields of lily pads, maiden cane, Kissimmee grass, & most other ROOTED weeds. Also goes right over floating logs. I can carry 8 baitcaster/rods & plenty of tackle & gear. Say goodbye to paddling, possibly capsizing, & fighting wind & current. This boat is SICK!!! It took me about 8 months to save up & buy mine. SO GLAD I DID!!! SEE ALL THE VIDEOS & START SAVING UP BROTHER, YOU'LL BE ALL SET......TRUST ME!!! Tight Lines- ( I'm happy to email you plenty of pix of mine plus all the giant bass I catch at the Stick Marsh!!! My name is STEVE..... )
Nice boat I just bought a 17 foot glasstream it ain't new by no means but the man i bought it from is a former marine ssgt he kept it in a garage and took exelent care of it
Scott, would you comment on the pros/cons of a hotfoot? I personally don't use one for a very specific reason and am very curious about your view of it.
Could you make a video on as a pro how you guys deal with bad tournaments? I've been king of interested on the mindset or even being behind after the first day.
I will never be able to have anything that nice, but it's still fun to see yours. Thanks for showing it to us.
God Bless Scott 👍👍👍
What an absolute unit
Thanks Scott, this video is like taking a tour of your best buddies new boat and enjoying it with him to the max. I like the idea of the lower weight batteries. Thank you..
Nice office .I would love to have that to wake up at 5 and go to work
And I’m here trying to figure out which Walmart air pump I should get for my Seahawk 2 inflatable 😂. One day... Tight lines! Love the videos Scott.
Love the new ride. My daddy’s second cousin work for Ranger Boats for probably close to 30 years as a transport driver. When he wasn’t hauling them he was testing them. As he like to say. I get paid to purposely try to destroy it and look for weakness. Anyway love the videos. Keep up the fun
that many speakers aint ridiculous!!!! music is life!
"L" Stands for Life, Love, Lunker, Labor, Live, Luck......Wreck Em at Cumberland! Great content. Good job Spinnerworm.
All most as nice as my Tracker.. WHAT... nice rig man thanks for the tour. Best of luck at Cumberland be rooting for ya...
Thanks for taking the time to show us around the office brother! Stay safe my friend . 💯💯💯
You just sealed the deal on switching to the lithium batteries for me!
Hope you do well on Lake Cumberland
502L has a shorter rear casting area due to the increased seating area. The console is different (better in most peeps opinions), and the front deck lip is taller from the carpet to top. Few other smaller differences, but those are the major ones. Also holds 8 more gallons fuel than the 520C
Hmm, sounds like they sacrificed fishing deck for comfort.
Awesome Ranger Boat Scott!!👊.
One day I'll have a very nice boat one day now im still happy with my flat bottom bass conversion congrats very beautifull boat catch a bunch...
Just a bit more advanced than my '97 Astro ..... But it is still getting the job done. Thanks for the tour. Hope to see you posing in it with this year's FLW Cup!
Oh yeah. Nice boat Scott!
Yes sir, extremely different. Hope I can say, been really cold here and calling for snow the saturday before the tournament starts. Good luck Scott!

The new boat is looking pretty sweet Scott!
Unreal...that's a thing of beauty
That's one awesome boat, absolutely love the huge deck and the tons of storage,to bad I'll never have the credit or money to buy a awesome boat like that!

I think I would stick with the 10 inch sub woofers! Nice boat!!!
Thank you sit...😀
Hope you do good in the tournament I fished Cumberland for the past week and it Has been really good. Caught most of the smalleys on a red crankbait on points
I live near Cumberland and I fish it a lot and I have a tough time catching fish on it so best of luck to you

Wow that setup is sweet!
Might look into that kicker

Needed a good recommendation on the vinyl protection. Thanks
I hate to see the old boat go...
My dream so until then I’ll keep running my Javelin with a ‘95 Evinrude that still has 120lbs per cylinder. You are correct Scott Evinrude makes the best motor period.

I would take a paddle board over the headache that is a bass boat any day. Sit on top of a cooler, and just fish.

Howabouthetruth I have heard that they are a great little watercraft.
Those wiggle warts are sweet
Sweet boat Scott. Hopefully you won't have a fire in this boat, like you did last year.
sweet rig
Nice boat I just bought a 17 foot glasstream it ain't new by no means but the man i bought it from is a former marine ssgt he kept it in a garage and took exelent care of it
Nice! Now to find that $80,000
Fred 1975 it's $100,000 plus boat lol
yeah its a 50 anniversary model starts off at 98 something.
The 520L starts at $70k. The ICON is the $100k ranger
Scott, would you comment on the pros/cons of a hotfoot? I personally don't use one for a very specific reason and am very curious about your view of it.
Hey Scott great video. Which lithium batteries are you running?
Could you make a video on as a pro how you guys deal with bad tournaments? I've been king of interested on the mindset or even being behind after the first day.
Scott, what is the little thing you turn sometimes that sits by your trolling motor that seems to make the fish start to bite?
The L was given to you by that 12 year old
😆
Jack Kruger - Hey, give Scott some credit...that kid was 13.
Hahah
Scott what would be a good starting setup for swimbait fishing on a a budget
