When were those photos of visitors viewing Giotto's works in the Uffizi Museum taken? I was just there 8 weeks ago and there were at least 80 people in that viewing room crowding around those works. There were similar crowds in all of the viewing rooms. I was lucky to quickly grab a photo. (P.S. During our visit to Florence, we actually stayed in the nearby town of Vicchio which prides itself as being Giotto's birthplace--there is even a statue of Giotto in the public square.)
