My ex husband had a midlife crisis and ran off with a 17 year old ! Left me a note on the table! Happy to say everything happens for a reason ive since been happily married for 12 years and have a beautiful little girl x couldnt be happier x
I hate wearing my hood in the rain and have invested in a waterproof Tilley hat. It is brilliant! I can move my head around and it keeps the rain off my glasses.xx
Controversial bed discussion: since I moved to the US thirty years ago I’m a converted fitted bottom sheet, flat top sheet then duvet. This way there’s no weekly duvet wrestling, just two sheets and pillowcases to wash. Problem solved 😆
As Toby clearly adores you I think you are absolutely correct 👍🏻 I wanted to join you on your rainy walk it looked so fresh and when you mentioned the smell I knew exactly what you meant. It also looked like the old advert for Skegness ie “it’s so bracing!” 😂
So sorry to hear about your friend's brother's death. It's always a shock when someone close looses a loved one. Poor Bunny having to wait two days for a walk and still had to go out in the rain.
I used to hate changing our king sized duvet, we’ve got single duvets now (due to differences in heat issues whilst sleeping 😂) & they’re so much easier to change! Would highly recommend 😊 Also, I’ve never thought to cut my homemade bread the way you did, genius.
How do you cut your bread?! We tried singles to see if it would suit us but toby felt they were too small. So we tried doubles and they were too big. Silly man!
Always a two person job putting duvet covers on in our house, usually get my son to help as he's home during the day. Margot looks so sweet sitting on the bed following everything you say 😁.
Oh Gayna, s sorry to hear of your friends loss. Such a shock. My least favourite job is everything to do with cleaning, so over it all. Saw the state of my venetian blinds this morning and so disgusted. I think they will have to go .So anti them.Time for new curtains, roman blinds I think. Scared to start the venture off to getting them made though. I have a trip planned to your part of the world in June next year. Which is more important, save for the trip or delve in and plan new drapes etc. Golly Bunny was telling you not to go on, good on her. So lovely to see dear Bill.Hugs
I am so sorry to hear about your friend's brother. Sudden loss is so shocking and heartbreaking. My least favourite job ( from your last video) is exactly what you just did --- change the bedding. I love the result but hate the job. It was lovely meeting you today at the wool show. I hope you had a lovely time!
Jane!!! I didn’t know it was you! I’d have thrown myself into your arms had I have known. I cannot believe you didn’t tell me it was you. I could cry! Why oh why didn’t you say “It’s Jane! Jane Copeland!” Bloody hell, I loved our interaction today but I so very much wish I had known it was you. I would have dragged you off for a natter. Gutted. So peeved I didn’t recognise you but for me you are a little sunset thumbnail photo. Oh Jane!!!!!!
@@GaynaJane Oh no! I thought we had a lovely chat and I didn't realize I hadn't really identified myself (because of course there is only one Jane from Canada! Haha!!). You must meet so many people who are just little thumbnails. I did really love meeting you! I hope to be back over next year with the friend I was originally going to Highclere -- and we hope to be in Bath/Bristol then. Maybe we can sort out a tea & visit!
@@janecopeland2306 I don’t think you told me your name today 😝 For me there really is only one Jane in Canada. I don’t think you know how much I have wanted to meet you, to tell you to your lovely face how I appreciated your support with raising so much money for Bill’s special bus. And that I adore my little sauce pan and think of you each time my gaze falls on it.
I think my least favourite job is cleaning bathrooms and I still can’t get my shower doors free of limescale hard water area. Oh Gayna stairods rain so Somerset I think as I am from Devon or it might be Devonian anyway good to hear it again! Sorry about your friend’s loss how horrid😊
What a shocker when there is a sudden death. ❤️. I so miss British bakeries. So it took a long time for duvets to catch on in America. Almost every trip home (to Scotland) I would be buying duvet covers. But they are here now and they have (IMHO) improved things. They have a hidden zip instead of buttons or poppers. Inside each corner of the cover there are 2 long cotton tape “strings”. When you get the corner of the duvet up into a corner of the cover you scrunch it up and tie the ties around. You can then give a good shake and it aligns up. I just bought a new down duvet a couple of months ago. Lo and behold there were actually tabs across each corner that you could loop the ties through.
I love housework but the only part I dislike is putting the laundry away. I love seeing it all drying on the line and ironing but as you say what is it when it comes to putting it all away..... So looking forward to your futute videos on doing things the old fashioned way.
Duvet covers worth it when it’s done whatever way you do it can be frustrating getting top corner points in the top corners 😤😤😤😤my pet hate is when they aren’t in place same with pillowcase’s Sorry for your friends loss ❤
Gayna, I am single, but I agree about the cheating bit. I get a sickening feeling when I read about cheating. Love the new channel. Sorry about your friend's brother. And I am sad that Bill had a rough day on the bus.
Would you be willing to share your bread machine recipe? Your loaf looks so light and fluffy and mine always ends up so dense. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!❤
Hope you get a nice long evening of tea/wine and knitting very soon! We do two single duvets on our bed (maybe it would be two doubles to cover your bed) : twice the work but maybe easier work? :)
The cover is the only bit we do together. 😁 I fade in and out of eggs too currently on a omelette fad with shallot, herbs and anything else I fancy in the fridge. Mushroom and a bit of bacon today. Sometimes a sprinkle of cheese. Totally filling and very tasty. I don’t think Bunny is too impressed with the Hoomum training. You may have to go back to school Gayna 🤣 Did you say once she doesn’t like a coat? May be worth trying if she doesn’t as they can change their minds when the get older 😁
Sorry can't help with duvet, we put our king size on together the same way you did yours . Shaking from corners only works on singles and doubles for me as I have short arms.

Bunny was so funny with her walk in the rain 😊
I love watching you because you're so relatable. I mean who doesn't turn off the lights with their head when their hands are full. ❤❤❤😊
I'm so very sorry for your friend's loss of her brother!! Poor Bunny and all the rain!! Thank you for another great podcast!!

I do that in the guest bed but I wriggle and get tangled up when I do that on our bed 😂
@@GaynaJane I tuck the bottom end under the mattress =no tangling 👍🏻

Agree with you Gayna, the worse job is putting the duvet cover back on. 🥰
No duvets in the US. Lucky us.
Sorry for your friends loss ✨🤍 Bunny wasn’t really wanting that walk lol
You are a good friend Gayna, I'm sure your friend appreciated your visit 😍

Changing our duvet is always a two person job - there is no way I could do it on my own as I would get in a right muddle! Take care love WW xx

Bunny needs a halter with a detachable umbrella for those rainy days!
