Before we use odoo, we wnt to make sure it can do a basic thing for us. We simply want to receive pieces into inventory then basically do a pick from each department. We are a manufacturer so one department would pull 5 pieces and deduct from inventory through the manufacturing module or barcode module using a barcode. Simply scan the item barcode and the item pops up in some module and we deduct the pieces. But how does that work flow happen? I see there are barcode items in the manufacturer settings. Do they go to the barcode module, scan it then it knows to open the manufacturing module to that item to deduct?
