(Like I said in the description) I’d like to add that I am in no way promoting owning lots of reptiles. If you can do it ethically and afford it, then great. My entire life revolves around these animals though. They have constant care whenever it’s needed (which is non stop). It’s a whole different lifestyle than most people have. While it looks very nice from the outside, my time is often spent cleaning poop, cages or plants lol. And it’s expensive but that’s a topic for another day. I’m not complaining, I’m just explaining the reality. It’s WORK. Rain, shine, snow, sickness, or totally healthy, my animals all need to be cared for. It's something to think about before you dive into having an animal room or breeding animals! I have a question though… if you could have any 3 animals of mine, who are you choosing???? I’ll definitely get a crested gecko from you man. All your crested geckos are so adorable. But right now I’m not in the position to keep a crested gecko in my apartment because I don’t have any of my supplies and my crested gecko Spyro and his enclosure are still at my parents house. Once I find a pet friendly apartment complex, I’ll be able to look into having my crested gecko back with me and potentially look into purchasing a gecko from you.

Yep I'd recommend giving smaller breeders a try. I recently bought a lilly white from Pangea that wasn't socialized at all and pretty much as soon as your hand enters the enclosure he is gone. It's the problem of buying from someone with 1000+ crested geckos at a facility vs a breeder that has the time.

I'm sure that you've found names LONG ago, but this video just popped up on my feed today, so I wanted to pass along the name Cali for "Bullseye" since she has similar colouring to a calico cat. Lol It immediately popped into my brain when I saw her. Cute pets!! 💚💚💚

I just feel comfortable understanding their behavior. I can tell when Lenny (my ball python) is hungry or doesn’t really wanna be messed with. So I feel like just understanding the different behaviors and animals in general helps a lot!

How do you get your cresties soo chunky? 😭 mine doesn’t really eat. I give him Pangea and crickets but he doesn’t even eat the crickets! He didn’t like mealworms!
I have every flavor of Pangea so I try to mix 2 different kinds when I make my food. And I switch between them. It offers a variety of flavors and that way when I sell them, they’re used to everything. Other than that I don’t do anything special lol. I will say though, if they’re in too large of a tank at too small of a size they can have issues finding food. Idk if that could be your issue or not. I also have some that are lighter eaters than others. As long as you’re noticing poop it means they’re eating so don’t worry too much
Selective breeding. It’s extremely hard. Light/pale base geckos with lots of spots are so expensive and very hard to find. I have at least one I’ll be posting on morph market though (too many related males)! And it will probably be my TH-cam name but I’m figuring that out this weekend. I’ll make announcements on my channel, in the community tab as well as Instagram so everyone will know!
@@alztortz If they’re new geckos, I’d give them a week or 2 to settle in before you handle. Then after that it’s up to you. I’d say 3-4 times a week for 5-10 minutes at a time is good handling schedule. Night time they’re more active so if you want them calmer I’d recommend working with them during the day and eventually they’ll get more comfortable with you and be calmer
