Beautiful technique, looks so fluid and sharp!
I am 56 years of age and did skateboarding between 10 and 14 years old and then in lines in my thirties. I may try surf skating now. I'm hooked!

Hi Shane I was just practicing climbing but felt very iffy on riding back down after so perfect timing! Very clear and helpful video thanks.

The way you are skating at 3:37 is undeniably much nicer to watch, but when compared to how you skate at 2:25, there doesnt seem to be much of a difference in speed or turning radius. Is all the pumping and compression and d compression just for style, or is there a practical benefit too?

Hi Shane, Thanks for your video, well done as usual. Can you tell me more about ADAM XL choice vs ADAM or other Soulboardiy deck options ? I ask because i discover a MEDA which i find great (i'm 1,73m-69kg). Don't you feel the XL a little too big in some cases ?

This board is specific for my street surf cruising, I'm not going in the bowls with it.
I was looking for a super wide deck that could cover the whole foot length, heel to toes. Especially riding bare foot.
The flex of the deck also helps to absorb impact and vibration. A real smooth ride
      I'm 175cm, 80kg.

Thanks, i use also 4President in 80a. I would be curious to test with 77a in rear, keeping 80a in front, to increase even more the grip.

Hi 0:45 0:53 where should i put my weight? Front or back foot? Having hardtime switching weight back foot always slides and sometimes i lose momentum and lose balance

Shane - great vids! Thank you for creating and sharing. Two questions please: what board, trucks and wheels were you riding in this video, in practicing your turns? (I’d love to replicate that). Also, what board, trucks and wheels do you ride when you ride bowls/transitions? Again thanks!

For bowls, I ride the carver super slab C7. Mini super juice OJ wheels 55mm 78a. Orangatang knuckles orange bushings
