So enjoyyour travels. What a wait at the border. One good thing, youve got the Motorhome to relax in. Tat last place looked great. What lovely boys you have . I see George growing up . Enjoy the next Adventure x
Hope you visit Zakopane in Southern Poland - stunning location and beautiful wooden houses. Great campsite about a mile from the centre. The Owner is such a character.
Fantastic vlog Poland is a beautiful place the people so friendly and helpful. We went to Auchvitz 8 years ago it really affected me then we went to the salt mines which was absolutely amazing. We ate in the Jewish quarter every night never eaten so many dumplings safe travels xx
That made me smile at 10:18, the car from Vienna not wanting the car from Hesse in, no love lost there between the two countries! The last time I crossed the boarder on Austrian plates, I was shot at by the Hungarian boarder guards. Mind you, that was back in 1971 well before the Wall came down. Things have improved somewhat since then. 😁 You young-ones don't know you’re born! Great video as always, keep up the good work. 👍👍
Favourite park-ups would include a free aire, walking distance to a village, footpaths to walk the dog, a free toilet or possibility to empty the cassette. Swimming options are a bonus. But we're often quite happy with less.
Agree. Borders are where you meet the most interesting people though. Met a Brit exactly a week ago now on the Ukrainian 🇺🇦 to Polish border. He’d been there 11 hours when we pulled up so was happy for someone to talk to. He only wanted to drive out and straight back in again to renew his UK vehicle stay in Ukraine as it had just reached 12 months but they wanted to charge him 150,000Uah as it was a week over or he could surrender his pick-up to the Ukrainian armed forces. Kinda sucks really as he was a voluntary evacuation helper for them. Anyway it got sorted and then he promptly turned back around to go through it all again to go back to work!😂
Hi Guys love following your travels but i have to ask do you work from the van , because it not cheap travelling to other countries do you save up then blow it all on the trip
Maybe you need a note on the dashboard stating don’t forget to turn off aircon before connecting to the mains hook up so you don’t blow that darn fuse?
As you will be home now, how much roughly does a trip like that cost??? And do you find the motorhome spacious enough or could you downsize to fit in tighter places??? 👍
Interested in what you do with Krakow as we just came back from there (and Slovakia). When I realize I've been spending a long time trying to find a deal, I think "how much is my time worth?". Was 30 eur at a campsite worth the 30+ minutes you spent trying to find something cheaper/better? I spent probably an hour trying to find the right place near old town Krakow and the parking situation (have to park outside the center), then I decided to just go with AC Hotel and we walked to Krakow, finding the local football team stadium, beautiful park, etc. along the way
Its how it is in summer because off kids school summer holiday ,most people from west europe go to Greece or Turkey to holiday try Serbia and also add Serbian tourist going to holidays so its crazy amount off cars.So as i am from Serbia i totaly avoid it going with car during that months . But outside off kids school holidays which is Jul , August ,January its OK ,i past that border in 15 minutes few days ago
Another fabulous insight into the Roaming Radfords travel extravaganza never get bored of watching these 😎 Id visit one of your friends when you return to the UK and see if you can't get that fuse rerouted to an external source
£1.33 a liter, our local Oceano here is €1.02 for diesel and €1.03 for petrol, every weekend and our local ALDI has a petrol station attached and they are €1.02 for diesel and €1.03 for petrol every day, loving your travels enjoy.
I have been with 12v air con and that is much better ! Maybe for your next motorhome try to get the 12v ! Been running mine now for two years mostly hole summer abroad and no problems! All the best !
Good morning, what a lovely way to start Sunday morning travelling with the Radfords, i like the way you sort out all your problems, while I sit here thinking what would i do, nothing sensible anyway, perhaps i am learning a thing or two 😄. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤🙏
We are in our caravan in the Clare Valley in South Australia watching your video. Our favorite is small cp in small beachtown parks or off grid by the beach. We are all about the isolation and chilling.Enjoy your videos.
DON'T visit Serbia in summer, at least not with car, there are milion off cars going to holidays and km lines on border. Allready in September there is almost no one and you pass in 10 minutes, plus is 2 hot. So much better in spring and autumn
I agree but the problem is coming back up in the lifts my wife is claustrophobic as they ram you all in So we waited till last It was either she gets in or walk back up the 300 steps + and I go up in lift 😂
are you friends with the slaws adventure on TH-cam as I watch them as well as they have an motorhome and go on motorhome holidays abroad, They holidays a lot in france and think there going to Spain next I think they come from Yorkshire but I love your blogs as well , and your holiday never been to turkey , I want to visit Hungary and Poland as krakow is on my list soon, and Prague as well. But I am alright travelling through Europe as hold Irish ☘️ passport and still hold an eu passport and can still live and work across Europe as my mum whole family are Irish ☘️ and live in Ireland 🇮🇪 but my dad is British 🇬🇧 so hold two passport
I need to find the video in which you explored Hungary. I’m always curious how people from other countries see my home country. Btw, I love your videos. Cheers from London.
Well , you stuck on SRB-HU border! Welcome to East Europe , to non-EU country ! But , something need to be explained . First, pure big-numbers game : if 2-3 million Turks decide to go home for hollidays , and than back to Germany, it is simply too much cars per hour . Regardless day in week. And , if you add some border crossing on the top of that - here it is. Your bad luck was that you fall in maybe 2% real vacation tourists on that road . Remaining 98% are so-called Gastarbeiters ( german term for foreign workers). And , in the name of truth, all that havoc on SRB-HU border is created by Hungarian officers! Most of them are dispatched there as punishment . Even annual opening of new crossings , does not help. Hungarian border police is phenomenon-they can create jam from no more than just two cars on road ! Plus, Hungarians are traditionally better “guardians of West” than Westerners themselves . Historical, genetic fear that German boss will be unsatisfied!
As a Serbian i give you objective opinion. Big majority of Serbian cities are ugly. Except Vojvodina towns. Communist architecture, unplanned and unfinished houses, bad infrastructure, garbage... Nature is dissent. We have a lot of historic cities from different periods, prehistory, Roman empire , medieval, Ottoman empire.... Economy is bad, big majority of people working for 600 euros. Institutions are corrupt and chaotic. Because of that emigration in the West is very high. Serbian is very safe country, their is no dangers areas

Like most TH-cam channels I have on my list of favourites like Steve and Family many film weeks before and post So what you watch are not ‘live’ as it were 🏴🏴🏴❤️❤️
When they were talking about the upcoming trip weeks ago Steve said they'd be back in the UK for the beginning of September for school/college etc. I guess they use the footage for their weekly vlogs for a while after.
Thanks for sharing these travels updates, for those of us who aren’t travelling it’s always fun to see. Great videos!
Thank you Jules

I agree with Steve you see very little of a country driving on motorways
The long border crossing sounded tedious! Was there some reason for it, or is it always like that there?
It’s always like that at that time of year. It’s the main route back to Europe
Its how it is in summer because off kids school summer holiday ,most people from west europe go to Greece or Turkey to holiday try Serbia and also add Serbian tourist going to holidays so its crazy amount off cars.So as i am from Serbia i totaly avoid it going with car during that months .

Surly if you where doing the miles you do you would have a spare tyre
Absolutely, I believe all the Kon-tiki’s come with spare wheels.

It’s under the vehicle at the rear.
Another great video with plenty of information. The boarders seem to be s problem and I think they have 2 speeds slow and stop.
Serbia is super expensive especially if you consider their median sallary.

Hi, another great video guys. Have you thought of crossing the borders in the middle of the night? Should be much quicker. (Assuming they are open)
I can’t understand why you are driving a six wheel vehicle with no spare wheel?
Of course we have a spare wheel
Or compressor
Not sure I’d feel safe wild camping abroad, hear so many horror stories
You'll hear plenty of horror stories about camping in your own country. This attitude will hold you back from ever really putting yourself out there
