I made a hoodoo sweet jar for my mother and it didn't work she stayed sour! however I did a key spell for her to find a new home and move out of my house immediately and it worked within a few days!!! Did you have “sweet intent” for your mom when you did the spell? That’s the key point. If you had any sour or bad vibes for your mom you need to start the spell over. Also add catnip or some coffee bean or instant coffee it will speed things up

I did something similar to this for self love then panicked because I people said honey jars are part of a closed practice. I didn’t even have Hoodoo/Voodoo in mind, I just knew honey was a sweetener and I’ve used it before through my years as a practitioner and in China, where I’m from, honey is used hella often.

Has anyone used this spell and it worked? How long did it take?
I used it as i am a practitioner myself. It does work however you can’t do it and expect it to work in a few minutes. Some have been lucky enough for that to happen but in most cases it takes time. Also if your intentions are pure, you use your energy, and you have faith it will work. Don’t rush it but don’t wait months and years cause that’s bullshit. When I do my workings they take maybe a week or two in most cases z

If you haven't yet stored it away/hid it/buried it, then you can open the jar to add something else (it is still a "work in progress"). But in general it's not recommended to reopen a jar spell once it started working.
