@@nathann999 I'm sure it does take effort. I just really bristle at someone saying that content that is just someone else's content but edited deserves a ton a views. It's just cleaning up around the edges at the end of the day. As an extreme example, it would be like saying the person that keeps Michelangelo's David clean and dusted is massively underrated and deserves more. Like no not really. That is something that someone else made. This other person maintaining it or trimming it or making it a bit more presentable deserves some credit but realistically very little.

The 68K views this video has (and honestly even the most popular videos on dumptrucks channel for that matter) don't even come close to nearing the views 2ndJerma gets regularly, hell my sidebar has the 2ndJerma video '700,000 More Games' video with ~3 MILLION views on it right now and thats just TH-cam. You're also insulting (or are at least not a big part of) Jerma's community as he regularly interacts with video editors / effects artists / other fans like Cheltie and Skye4 who do this EXACT KIND OF CONTENT and there's no ill will between them, it'd be a different story if Jerma told people he didn't like this kinda content being released but he doesnt. In fact Jerma has literally done THREE different green screen streams so people can edit them into new original creations to watch on stream (which ironically would make Jerma more of a leech according to you, he's making much more money off the free labor of his fans than his fans make off of him. Unfair, No?). Even something like the bit of him pretending to light a wasp on fire has him *explicitly* asking people to take the stream clips and edit them / transform them. What, so because Dumptruck doesn't put a bunch of sound effects and fire graphics in this video it's all the sudden not transformative enough? In what way are the people editing other Jerma Streams / stream clips changing it that Dumptruck doesn't? The amount of time that goes into editing down these streams is pretty comprable to those smaller much more densely edited videos. As for the actual monetary aspect, Jerma doesn't make the lion's share of his money from TH-cam hell he probably doesn't even make the majority of his money from Twitch anymore, he's been really transparent about his plans with his career moving forward and those plans are taking even more steps back from streaming full time. People going back and doing something like this with his old VODs isn't a threat to his business so stop being pedantic and negative, it's not even stepping on Jerma's toes. Idk who you're following but long edits of Jerma Streams aren't exactly trending like Mr. Beast so it can't be that lucrative... It seems like you don't view a video edit as a meaningful piece of transformative art as you compare it to a mindless household chore, which is really stupid considering most professional TH-camrs hire experienced video editors specifically because editing a video nicely, turns out, is hard and not everybody can do it (unlike dusting). Dumptruck isn't a leech stealing away Jerma's fans / popularity or getting an undue amount of credit for their editing skills, and my tepid expression of the opinion that their edits of Jerma streams are underrated really shouldn't be such a problem for you.
