I got my openswim pro and used it 2 days ago. Exceedingly simple to use and I had no issues figuring out what to do without looking at instructions. I didn't use earplugs. When I am underwater it sounds bass boosted. Very dramatically different. Ran into no issues. Just threw it on and swam laps. Tiny downside may be can't track forward or back within a song but triple tap to change tracks. Love it!
Big fan of this brand! Found out about them back in 2019 from Unbox Therapy and have been a proud customer ever since. I work in a hospital so these were perfect instead of wearing my AirPods Pro in ear while walking around
I love shokz I ride motorcycles and the best thing is I can still hear my phone and yet still hear everything around me. Love them so much bought my son a pair and he doesn’t put his down. Unfortunately his broke so gave him my pair and I’m back to using in ear so missing out but he’s happy that’s all that counts.
Recently switched over to Shokz OpenRun mini bone conduction headphones for use when I have to go to the office and at the gym and have loved them for being able to stay aware of my surroundings! My go to first song I listen to with any device is Black Cars by Gino Vannelli!
Nice review! One thing to note Bluetooth doesn't work further than ~1 inch(2.5cm). So to use these in Bluetooth mode while swimming, you have to have your phone/player pretty much located on the headphones. That's why these have the onboard storage mp3 player mode.
@@lizalonzo52 Waterproof or not, Bluetooth only travels ~1 to 2 inches through water. That's why the Openswims have 32mb of storage for music. If you want stream music from your Applewatch or whatever it must be situated < 1.5 inches(3cm) from the reciever.
Trucker Joke: Hi honey, did I ever tell you that I love overweight loads? Wife: Face Slap😮 What did I do.... I love hauling loads that are overweight with my truck.😅
why wouldn't I just use a bluetooth speaker while on the pool, put it on the table. Most people won't go swimming with their headphones, no matter how waterproof they are.
I can only assume you don't swim often, as in laps. If you're in the pool doing laps and swim drills for 30 mins or 90mins it gets fairly boring going up and down a 25m pool. A consistent point all frequent swimmers mention is how quality Waterproof headphones that can play audiobooks, music or podcasts would be great. Putting a speaker at a public pool simply isn't an option
honest first song i am listening to is The Moon from ducktails on NES which has been covered by many gaming bands like The Advantage and composers like Jake Kaufman. one of the catchiest pieces of music ever made haha @jonathanrmedina
I got the openmove almost 3 years after having some operations on my ears and got the original openswim after starting to swim again. Would love to see how they improve the new openswim pro @gregromanovsky
Hi, I love your channel! I am a viking who is a fitness and tech geek from Sweden 💪😎👍I am parabiking right now and going strong and fast in my wheelchair and now I want to go and swim for a longer period. So this fits me perfectly and when I get tired I put on this song because that's my blood flowing and the muscles pumping: Let's get loud by Jennifer Lopez. @criz4fun

perfect for that!
I’d be stoked to listen to music on my Shokz ear accessories while swimming. I’ve never been able to do that - game changing!

Thanks for the tip! I was thinking what about if you connected it to a water proof Apple Watch or something would that work?

Lap swimming. People who swim in pools for exercise. I swim for an hour, I've a pair of the older model. It's nice to have music while I swim.
Wait you have a private pool... Cool. In public not everyone would appreciate it
