Well, in spite of Frost's dirty mind, this looks like a pretty wholesome character that is all about healthy living and ... uh, missing children?
Missing children have been on milk cartons for awhile. It’s like a real things.
It is still wholesome. Milk cartons had missing children information on them for years. And apparently was decently successful in raising awareness leading to many kids being saved
If ya want another modded character to play, The Yakuza is a fun one, based off the Yakuza games. Fun mechanics (that are a lil broken) and a starting relic that's a black star for unique relics. 👍 Really fun even if ya don't know the games/references.
As an avid fan of the Yakuza Series I haz GOT 2 SEE DIS!!!

I came here as soon as I saw the title. This was one juicy mod, you got into some sticky situations but you manged to pull out. Can't wait to share this video here at the navy with my fellow seamen.

I'm sad that Frost didn't realize how the calcium with butter was. Especially with cards like Growing pains. As long as you play Growing pains every other turn, you can maintain (3+calcium) str/dex for the whole fight. If you play growing pains two turns in a row, it increases the amount of calcium you can maintain by that same amount. If you had two growing pains for consistency, you'd basically have infinitely scaling str/dex whose growth rate also scales with itself. With good deck cycling, we're talking like 20 calcium turn 3, 50 calcium turn 4, etc.
tbh I wouldnt be surprised if he did notice. While he could've taken it act 1 at the shop, I don't think it was necessarily a mistake to not take it. By act 3, his deck was revolving around thorms, not calcium+butter, so growth pains, while viable, just made his first 3 turns worse on average
@@njstudent155 the fact that it's 2 cost also makes it harder to justify taking early. Frost ended up with a pretty amazing build anyways.

Weird challenge idea that may be too easy- you cannot use cards that do damage. You must rely on thorns, or cards that directly change an enemy's HP (ie things like judgement). Probably harder on vanilla characters. Probably more fun on milkman or pack master
@@gamecavalier3230 I think the rule would be if it 'reduces hp' it's within the rules. So no, they don't count as damage. Poison is a weird instance, since I consider it more of an attack. But something like pressure points I definitely consider on the table.

Genuinely would like to see this character again. Seems like you could go a few directions with this.
Bottle holder looks like a meme, filling your deck with empty bottles... but keep in mind, with 7 strength, that happens a lot for this character (it seems), it'd deal 9x cards damage, that's pretty darn good
I just want the people to know that the shop at 1:01:14 had calipers, and I want to live in a world where frost could afford them and make this deck fucking ridiculous
Taking Espresso at the same time as a good nights rest seems a bit questionable

Okay I don't think anyone appreciated glass form quite enough
With every other character your scaling comes in the form of combos that give you more focus or strength or orbs or damage etc, usually involving runes as well as cards
Glass form *is* your scaling for the Milkman, that is the only scaling you need. That is 15 thorns every 3 turns against the heart. That is 225 damage each multiattack. You no longer need enough damage to kill the heart, you just need a shit ton of block

The idea of a character having strong bones makes me really want to see a modded character who's whole thing is raising his max HP but dealing self damage. LIke Iron Clad but to 11.

Now i wanna see if this character can do a full passifist run. Custom deck thorns is your only damage. Maybe one card deck starting with glass thorns to make it giga hard mode
Might have to give this mod a go at some point. Feels like building entirely around thorns and massive block gain from that would be an interesting option to explore.
I'd like to see more of this, you say he's a bit strong but this just seemed like a good run. More runs with different strategies would be cool to see
