    Forget astrophotography, Adam Block might be one of the most eloquent speakers I have ever seen. Maybe consider narrating documentaries?

      Haha! You know..I did change my microphone... maybe that helped?

    Yet again a wonderful video. I’ll watch it a few times, as I always do, thanks for making Pixinsight so understandable.

    The first few minutes of this have been very, very helpful. I think I finally have the knack of using STF.

    I just chacked the academy on your homepage. The explanings are in deed the most profound, I've ever heard!
    In my mind stretching is a kind of playing chess. You have to think in advance what to do in order to bring out your next move in the most powerfull way.
    Thank you Adam 😀🙏😘

    Yeah and you can still see the Trapezium stars which are responsible for sculpting and lighting of the nebula in the first place. I would love to know more about data aquasition for this target.

      That is the point. Nothing special. Just acquire the images at an exposure that is just short enough not to overexpose things. Typically this is a 3-5 minute exposure.

    Adam,
    Would you consider your Fundamentals tutorials (etal) more geared toward mono image processing as opposed to osc processing?
    Thanks

      @AdamBlock  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No... I am pretty equal opportunity. FastTrack is OSC for example. I have mixed examples across all of my content. :)

      I will also add that OSC is really just superficially different. Once you get past debayering... things are pretty much in the same Universe as mono.

    Lucy called Charlie Brown a blockhead.....I like to think of myself as a Blockhead also.
