Nice :) : here’s an upgrade idea, if you angled that support arm, let’s say 45 degrees backwards, then you could make cut-outs not only along a long board but across it.
Hi there, thank you for such a nice comment and support. I have plans on paper, they are not public though yet but I am planning on doing so. I am glad you liked the video. Much appreciated 👍
In this is great. I've been trying to find a long scrolling blade to make thinner, more accurate cuts. But it seems they are all under 4 inches. Any suggestions?
That's right. Same struggle here. :/ With the jigsaw table build they work fine with narrower wood. I think the precision would be a quite off if longer scrolling blades were used. Fot that I am planning to build a scroll saw. Let me know if you get some info on those long jigsaw scroll blades. Thanks
@@AllFlavorWorkshop will do. I was actually considering making my own. Perhaps with a sawzall blade, or a coping saw style blade. I'd love to see a scroll saw table build. I made a large one with a router and a long, but dangerous bit, but to get it to cut thin is tough. Perhaps it might be better to use a cut-out tool? I tried with a rotary tool, but tbh, the rotary tool industry is garbage. Dremel went to 💩, and I tried so many other brands, but they all seem to be junk (if you need adjustable speed). Milwaukee has a great o e in their 12v lineup, but for most things I like a rotary tool to be corded. With that said, the cutout tool might be the way to go for a scroll saw. They tend to be pretty strong, but sometimes, too strong. Either way, I look forward to the scroll saw build. And I'll let you know how my "long scrolling blade" adventure goes lol.
@@carterscustomrods Sounds interesting. And I wonder myself. I've been thinking about this for some time and I see there are few setbacks on the way. I am planning on making one in the future but I am still figuring our few things. Nevertheless there will be few updates on the build until its all done.. ;) let me know.

Do you think a v-slot aluminum extrusion would be a better support bar to run across the top? It would be more rigid, lighter weight, and easier to adjust. But I'm trying to think of the downfalls to using an extrusion.

Your drilling machine and stand look solid. Particularly the chuck. Can you tell some information on this?
Mythical. Tanks
Thank you too! 👍
Sehr gute Lukas. Sie nehmen nach dem Meister JSK, aber Ihre Arbeit ist besser für den durchschnittlichen Handwerker geeignet!
Most excellent video and project. I've looked at quite a few vid's on this and your is the best by far. Do you have or sell plans? Keep broadcasting!!

Hi Денис. Good point. Everyone take precautions while working with power tools. Thanks, stay safe. 👍
