Just got my Belair yesterday and absolutely love it , nice and light , thin slices by blade , and MagnaCut !!!! For the money can’t go wrong … 💪🏼🤙🏼👌👌👌
@@MrKopamontanga that’s awesome !! It’s definitely an awesome knife for the price , USA made and really high performance materials !!
I just got mine today to replace my trusty Kershaw Cryo. One thing is this knife is just as THIN as my Cryo which is absolutely amazing for edc. There is no excuse not to always carry this knife with you everywhere you go. You literally forget you even have it on you with how well it wears clipped in the pocket of blue jeans.
That’s awesome glad you like it !!! It’s definitely a really good knife can’t go wrong with it !
You know it's funny how many knives out there are a Bugout killer, this is a great testament to the popularity of the Bugout. I do like the looks of the Bel-Air from the blade shape to the action and am a great fan of it being American made from a fantastic company. I almost bought one when they first came out along with an MKM Yipper. Thanks for sharing C&C!
The bugout is definitely a timeless design and it’s a testament to how good the overall light weight nature and crossbar lock is!!
I'd really love to check that one out sometime! Looks pretty cool
It’s an awesome one !! Glad to check it out , personally way better than the bugout !
I’m really enjoying mine. I kinda wish they would’ve weight relieved the liners but I still like it. Had to fix the edge bevels right away tho. Pissed me off how wonky they were.
@@tgonzalez1983 it’s crazy to think Kershaw would send them out that way too. Must have passed through QC ? Glad you like it though, definitely a awesome choice
kershaw is really making a come back
They never fell off… the leek came out in 2000 and has been a best seller even 24 years later. Kershaw leek is immortal.
👍
I look forward to getting a look at one!
Glad to help man !! Disassembly is tomorrow!!
Can't tell if that's a drop point or a wharncliffe. Also, you mentioned in previous videos that Steve was a lanyard guy and was trying to get you into lanyards. I myself have lanyards on some of my knives, but they are functional in that they fit around my wrist and serve as a retention device in case of a self-defense situation, or an outdoors situation where if I were to drop the knife, I might lose it for good, e.g. a boat.
Steve's lanyards don't seem to be functional other than as decoration, so I don't understand having them. I might be missing something, so if you know of any functions of these lanyards, please let me know.
It’s definitely a blend of both, modified wharncliff maybe ?? And yeah I think he uses them for aesthetic purposes mainly ! He just like the looks haha !
Putting bearings inside the blade and washers on top is a very bad idea... Unfixable blade play is imminent with time. Why not just use washers, without making the blade thiner for bearings at its stress point ??? Benchmade did it right with the bugout.
I see Skiff makes bearings for the Belair, but on the website it says (no washers) next to the model number of bearing for the Belair ..??? I’m assuming all Belairs don’t come with washers , am I wrong ??
