I'd love to see you do a Best Animated Adaptations at some point. I think it would be easier for you to find better versions of all of these characters in animation.
Keyinan Lonsdale problem with The Flash wasnt the crew or something it was problem with writers, he left because he hated what they did to Wally - basically making him cameo character instead of Barry's partner.
Between all the actresses of Poison Ivy, I'd choose Bridget Regan since she arguably played the most accurate version of the character between all three different live action portrayals
She was good, I couldn't be bothered with watching every episode of *Batwoman* season 3, so when I read that DC only allowed the CW to use Pam for 3 episodes, I figured I'd give it a chance. I wasn't disappointed. I'm also a huge *Gotham* fanboy, so having the actress who played Renée Montoya coming back to play the same character in those episodes was a big bonus for me, even if I was disappointed with what they did with Renée... Sadly, *Batwoman* had some really good adaptations of some DC characters like Poison Ivy, Black Mask, Cluemaster and Stephanie "Spoiler" Brown... but since they were stuck in such a abysmal show, they didn't get the recognition they deserved because no one watched it.

I disagree with Peyton List being the best adaptation of Poison Ivy because the showrunners of Gotham explained the recasting of Poison Ivy by wanting to move away from the more comedic version played by Maggie Geha into a scarier, more ruthless character played by Peyton List that wasn't good at all in Season 4. Maggie Geha's version of Poison Ivy was way better and they should've stick with her as the official Ivy in the show. Also, I didn't like that she wasn't named Poison Ivy in the show cause that's who she is when she has powers and doesn't even named herself, Poison Ivy.

While there were other issues, and I do agree, Melissa did a good job, the thing that always stuck out to me with Supergirl is that they shouldn't have made her an adult, the reason she's called Supergirl is because she's a teenager; I remember the one flashback episodes looking at the Danvers Sisters as teenagers, and I just wish that was more the show we got, just with Kara acting as Supergirl at that age. I think it's just part of how the Arrowverse and mid 00s-mid 2010s superhero shows and films in general were always resistant to admitting that teenage superheroes were a thing, always aging them up to near adulthood if not all the way. We finally got that kind of teenage superheroes with the likes of Stargirl, hopefully we will see that more in the future, James Gunn, please give us actual teenage sidekicks.
I think DC could do Martian Manhunter similar to how Marvel tried to do hulk. Instead of solo movies he can have his arc be a background element of other movies. Do his origin in the first Justice League and then have him slowly come to enjoy being on Earth. I wouldn't give him a human form until either the end of JL 1 or whatever his second appearance is. I do like him being a freelance detective though and think that's a great setup for him to appear in a batman movie

@@dragonfire4527 - when it comes to DC shows, the Gotham/Flash Peyton List also played in a couple episodes of *Smallville* as Lois Lane's sister, Lucy. I didn't mind when Poison Ivy had her first growth spurt in *Gotham* , after an encounter with that one dude from Fish Mooney's gang of freaks, but the second transformation was a bit overkill IMHO... Still, not sure what the problem with Penguin was, he was one of the most consistent characters in the show. I enjoyed Colin Farrell in *The Batman* (can't wait to watch his own show), but Robin Lord Taylor is still my favorite live action Oswald. His rise to power over 5 seasons was a blast to witness.
For me the biggest problem is the complete misuse of the name Cassandra Cain on a character whose only links to the character from the comics other than name is a Gotham address, lack of a Y chromosome and Asian heritage. However also honestly it's the fact that I knew they were working on a Gotham City Sirens film and scrapped it, when they really shouldn't have. This film is not about the Birds of Prey, it is a Harley Quinn film, Harley is not affiliated with the Birds of Prey in the comics, Gotham City Sirens is a team up of Harley, Catwoman and Poison Ivy. If instead of the Birds, they had made the film a Gotham City Siren's film, maybe have Holly Robinson instead of Cass then at least some of the hate the film got wouldn't have happened.
I've not been watching the current season of Titans, but the thing with Bernard bothers me because it's another case of the show failing to show some of Tim's early years properly. Tim's acceptance of himself as bi was a late development and shows the evolution of the character. The worst part for me, though, is last season where he tells Dick that he wants to be the next Robin. Early Tim would never have made the request, and didn't. He was even shocked when Alfred pointed out that Dick brought him to the Batcave because he might be the next Robin. His lack of confidence in spite of being an absolute genius is one of Tim's earliest defining characteristics. Additionally, on the character of Bernard... Why do so many DC adaptations make random student age characters into older scientists in live adaptations? I know it's only been two, but it was wrong for both Bernard and for Ronnie Raymond. Actually, I always thought that since his character was a physicist, they should have made Robbie Amell's character Martin Stein, and make Victor Garber (or another elder actor) Ronnie Raymond. Portray Ronnie as a retired underwear model and small time actor who spends his twilight years as an anti-science hippie. Essentially, keeping the characters the same, but reversing their ages. This would have made for a much more interesting dynamic than the idea of two scientists.
He's ordering it in terms of the character's that are the most recurring, I'm not sure if that's in the comics, in adaptations or overall but he does mention that Tim was more recurring than Jason, who'll probably show up if he does a third video
Doom Patrol Cyborg > Snyder’s Justice League Cyborg. In terms of characterization and development, Snyder’s version is way, way better than Whedon’s but still doesn’t compare to the Doom Patrol version. I hate the mess that is the JL costume (would fit in the mess of Transformers bad designs) and so even if covered too often I dramatically prefer everything face down for the DP version so the face plate isn’t enough to overcome the character and remainder of the design.
Wally West and the guy that portrays Wallace West in this video shouldn’t be on this list, because the guy is portraying a character that isn’t Wally West, so Wally West and the guy that portrays Wallace West shouldn’t be in this video.
