He can block a few shots but can't able to guard in a pick and roll unlike Kevon Looney so not he's not perfect for a power forward.
Long time Dayton fan here. I will say selfishly, I wanted him to come back but we are grateful he didn't go early last year and be a late 2nd round NBA pick last year. The scary part is....he gets better and better every game. He's still scratching the surface of what he'll become. And as good as all that is he's even a better person. Whoever gets this gem, gets not only a fantastic player but an even better human being. All UD fans are going to always wonder where this team would have ended up. A national championship wouldn't have surprised us. This was a very unselfish team with a lot of excellent players that complimented Obi very well. I waited 53 years for UD to land a player of the year; I got most of what I wished for, I guess I'll just have to watch the pro career and hope he gets some rings there. This guy is a superstar. Mark it down.

yes he's a great ball player but as a UD student who lives near him i can say he's an even better person
I've found that to be true with a lot of Dayton's basketball players. My freshman year I lived on the same floor as Kendall Pollard, Scoochie Smith, and Kyle Davis and they were always so nice when you ran into them in the hallways.
That's the kind of thing you love to hear.

Best player in the Draft 2020 from what I have seen. He's got everything needed for a PF and is very very fast. Golden State Warriors should pick this guy.

@@allenxavier6073 Nope. Draymond is 6'6" on a good day. Measured just below that at the combine years ago. ESPN has him at 6'6" as well. He's got long ass arms and a huge reach for his height though so it doesn't really matter much.

There are a lot of prolific scorers and players that came into the league at the end of a full college career, Dame for example. Hell it took one college year + 3 nba seasons for joel embiid to make his debut. Its less about age and more about productivity
This is who the Warriors need to draft. I know they need a true rim protector, but I don’t think Wiseman is going to make an immediate impact inside which is what they will need. I also feel like they could sign Javale McGee in free agency this off-season or maybe Dwight Howard. This guy would be the perfect fit alongside Draymond, Paschall, and Chriss. Plus he’s proven his ability to space the floor offensively and seems to be a better perimeter defender than Wiseman

Besides Anthony Edwards or Wiseman or Melo there's really nobody else in this draft that screams superstar. Obi Toppin however, I think can project to be an all-star one day. He's a TRUE 6'9 if not taller, 250 pounds, can run the floor like a guard and his energy on offense reminds me of Zion. He's just an explosive athlete. The PF position in the NBA is probably the weakest position so he won't have to face elite talent every night. He's def a guy that goes in the top 5.

He seems like Blake Griffin to me. Not the young dunk on everybody Blake, but today’s well rounded Blake. I see people saying STAT but he has a better shooting touch then Amare and puts the ball on the floor better from the top of the Key. He’s similar to Amare in the pick in roll game tho.
He's gonna be a prospect like Giannis was. And If he learns how to put the ball on the floor and get a consistent jumpshot. In year 3 or 4 he'll definitely be a beast.

Chicago Bulls NEED either Obi Toppin or Onyeka Okongwu from USC. With Toppin it's a lot of offense with some defense. With Okongwu it's good offense with off the charts defense who can play some center. Bulls get one of these guys they've done a great job in the draft.

He would be a great fit with alot of NBA teams, so excited to see where he lands. Looking for to james Wiseman and Lamelo also. Those are my 3 top picks for the draft. We will see if I'm right. They are all NBA ready, and could jump in a rotation easy. I am betting that Wiseman will go to Golden State, although I wish he could play along side Zion and the Pels!

I kept saying how unselfish he was, he did not demand the ball very often. Dayton had such a power house of scorers. Clutcher, Chatman, Mike Sell , and then Landers, who was incredible all over the court. If they would have fed the ball to Obi every couple plays, he would have been up to 30 to 40 a game. He is alot of fun to watch. He will transfer to the NBA easily
