Happy Birthday Dena...that red sweater is your color! I also liked your little pin on the lapel. I have several pins from my mom and I need to use them more. I had to chuckle at your comments on cold weather. I am there with you!! My late FIL was from Minnesota but lived in Savannah most of his adult life. He said he could never go back to MN, his blood had gotten thin from the hot weather.:) I have whittled down my WIPs to nine and I want to get some of those bigger ones stitched and finished.
Arlene, wow, down to 9 is wonderful. I am down to 16 and am celebrating that! Don't anticipate any more finishes this year. I have been working for three days to finish a block on Spring at Hawk Run Hollow so I can start 2024 with new blocks! I think I now must catch up on my Bingo stitching for three days, then I might, just might pick up Spring Quilt and try to finish the center portion of it before the end of the year, but that is a big ask. We shall see. I am trying to get some of these older medium, large pieces ready to finish in 2024. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Dena

I am still so tickled by seeing/hearing Gainesville but in another state! Did you knew there is a third Gainesville in Texas as well? My parents found out when i was studying at UF and they came up on a game day and someone mentioned coming into town form Gainesville...and they were kind of looking at them like..but...we are in Gainesville, then they said no Gainesville, Texas! Happy birthday 🎉🎁 In commemoration of your special day I started Feliz naughty dog 🐶 boy oh boy are you a fast stitcher I’m still stitching away at mine but should be finished soon. Does your family still gift you the annual silly earrings ?? I remember you mentioning that it was your husband and sons tradition to pick out something outrageous and that you have to wear them for the day. Such fun 😂. Lynn, I did have a great birthday! We went to the theatre to see a Christmas production and then last night we went to a different theatre for an Atlanta Pops concert and it was wonderful. So we spread out the celebration all week. LOL. Dena

I will be happy to walk through what I did, but I did use a sewing machine. Doesn't mean you can't do it by hand though. I will add this into my next video for you. Dena
