We, literally, just returned from our Disney cruise to Alaska onboard the Wonder. We can’t say enough good things about this trip or the crew. Spicy, of our wait staff, made things especially great for us. She was absolutely amazing. Instead of the helicopter ride to the glacier, though, we took the train ride up the mountain. Unbelievable trip! We’ve already booked our next Disney cruise for next year. We can’t recommend a better cruise line. Wasn’t our first Disney cruise and it certainly won’t be our last!
@@arjv5998 , I guess that it depends on your destination but in this case we took the first cruise of the year up to Alaska. The weather was great and we wore only a light coat at each port. The snow was melting which gave us hundreds of waterfalls everywhere. We’re looking forward to doing the exact same cruise again after the scamdemic is finally over. 👍
Hi!!! I was the helper on the Dawson Creek side at the Lumberjack Show. I’m glad you had such a fun cruise. The Wonder is one of my favorites to come into port every week, and it’s wonderful to hear how much visitors love our gorgeous state. Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
I’m from Ketchikan Alaska!! I worked at the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show for one summer, The Fish House for multiple summers, Potlatch Park for one, and more! All in 2012-2015. If you went there between those years you probably saw me. ;)
Great video! We live in Alaska and LOVE cruising with Disney! We've done 5 cruises with them and have our 6th and 7th already booked :) However, we've never cruised here in Alaska with Disney so we loved watching this video. Thanks for sharing!
What dates were this filmed on? I was on a Princess cruise in June and we bumped into the Disney Wonder in Skagway. In fact in the Skagway footage (at 2:06) I can see the Star Princess in the background, the ship I went on...
Just curios when this was filmed. We did an Alaskan cruise in June but unfortunately, not on Disney. We're were on the Princess ship you can see in the background on your helicopter tour behind the Wonder. No where near as magical...
Disney got way too lucky by never having to give an official statement to the family of Rebecca Corriam on exactly what they think happened to her. They quietly and quickly brushed it off because of the happy wholesome image Disney hides behind. Disney.....what are you hiding concerning the disappearance or possible foul play of Rebecca Corriam?? Her family has been waiting over 8 years. Show them the cctv camera footage!! We will never stop reminding you of this terrible tragedy. Disney...you know something! Do the right thing!
WTF are *you* on? @crankee99 you sound deranged! You’re gobbing off at some random about _something_ that happened and nobody has a clue what you’re on about. Weirdo. Quit the drugs. Stick to your meds.
I priced Disney and Royal Caribbean. I booked Royal could not see paying $4,500 more to go on Disney and see the same stuff I seen from Royal. I think Disney is a RIP OFF
Earl Louks for some it is, for others it isn’t. It will be a once in a life time experience for me. I’ve planned my 1st. Disney Cruise for next year (2020). I’m taking my niece. I’m sure it will be a vacation she’ll never forget. I don’t know who’s more excited. For that price I will probably never go again. So we are going to go and live our best life... Yelp... I had to work 5 extra hours of overtime per week to pay for this trip and excursions at each port. You are correct, the price is out there, all the more so when you’re paying for other people. Have a great day Earl
@@melodymakingmelodies4896 Enjoy your cruise and have fun . We paid for excursions for 3 adults the cruise travel insurance and flights and it still did not come to what the Disney cruise would have cost. Have a great day
@@ejlouks18 it just depends on what you like. Disney Cruise has excellent customer service and their shows are top notch. Everything else they can be comparable. You are entitled to your opinion but it's not fair to call it a rip-off if you're basing it on price but you don't really know that you get your money's worth based on my own experience. It's not like I cruise Disney all the time but I would put them higher than Royal for sure.

I'd love to go on any Disney cruise liner, I've been on many other Cruise lines but not Disney's, not yet
Best time to travel?

@Back2Retro , it was early May. The opening/first cruise that Disney did to Alaska. It couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience.

I was wondering what the Disney Alaskan cruise was like, thank you for the highlights
Expensive as all hell
My pleasure!
@@PopularCruising I know it cost almost $4,500 more then what we paid for Royal Caribbean.
Best Mickey Mous'en and Goofy'en around. Thanks for sharing a great trip.

Is there a pool on the ship
Yes, there are several.
@@PopularCruising in Alaska is it to cold to swim
@@joaxfa6093 Not really. The pools are heated.
@@PopularCruising ok thank you so much because me and my family is planning to go there after the pandemic
Great vid!
Thanks so much!
What is the best month to do a Alaska cruise? We have been on two Disney cruises and I am looking to do our third but we would like to do Alaska.
I’m fond of Alaska in all the summer months, but if you’re a shopper, the selection is better earlier in the season.
What time of year was this?
It was in June.

We were on the week of June 17.
Popular Cruising just missed you by a couple weeks! Looks like you had a bit better weather
Sorry. Those are dolphins at the beginning.
Was thinking the same thing. Fastest orcas I've ever seen.
