I just love the pattern that looks as if there is a doily on the bottom of the bowl...SO pretty. I am not familiar with Polish pottery, but I should be. My dad was Polish, my mom Lithuanian. And, my dad was an artist. I love The small flowered pieces as well. Vines are usually my favorite. I will have to begin a search. Looks like the people traveling to Poland had a pleasant trip. I always think about my grandfather, talking about his sister, who died in the concentration camp. The people n Poland have had a tough life for years, but they are very independent, and proud. Their handiwork shows their tough spirit of survival.
Once you know your polish pottery, you can spot it any where. I pick up many pieces, mix/match, at yard sales, and second hand shops. I love my polish pottery!
I bought a piece of pottery at a flea market. It is a pie plate and I love the design. It has white stars on a blue background with some red stripes. It has the number 7 and the Boleslawiec name on the back. Was wondering if you knew how old it may be. Pam Pharis

I love my Polish Pottery.
Kelsey, do you get any pottery made in Sompolno, Poland?
How are the artists paid - by the piece or hour?
Polish pottery has lead in it?
I think the video says the opposite!
