I absolutely LOVE the turn after the zero g roll. It’s just perfect for the era. Multiple B&M coasters had little awkward turns just to get from point A to point B. The layout is pretty much perfect.
Just gonna point out that this series is literally just for us because like… no one would take hours building and supporting a coaster just to delete it unless they were doing it for the TH-cam
That is exactly what this series has become!! And each one is getting more and more painful to delete! If it weren't for the fact that I've put the 1960 and 1990 file up, I'd be devastated.. but they live on... so it is all good :)
As someone who grew up with Kumba as their favorite coaster for a LONG time, this warms my cold, Thoosie heart. Also, Chacho really has that US Government attitude where he just buries his [REDACTED] with lots of dirt and walks away lol
I commend the work you put into this game .. I load into planCo with an idea and usually just stare at a blank canvas before shutting the PC off and end up creating nothing . Lol your work discourages me because I always want to go the realism route and never succeed in it 😅😅
@@Nerdchachowow, so you say this is the best 1994 B&M you’ll find and then refuse to take criticism on the fact that you genuinely messed up, there’s a difference between admitting you’re wrong and being a prick about it
Sigh. Here we go again. Before you start to make comments about pre-drops. Yes, pre 1999 B&M coasters had pre-drops, but they weren't always *needed* for straight-off-the-lift drops. They were built in because they were consistent and helped the chain motor, yes, but they would have been fine without them. The pre-drop on straight-off-the-hill drops was usually included to aid the prevention of rolling off the hill during an evac - but again, not needed; so I've chosen to not have one.. What they had and what they needed are 2 very different things. Remember that my builds are based on what is possible, not what you've seen.
It does.. but not in the place it used to be. It was re-introduced around 2007.. but in the site it now sits, rather than where Tidal Wave is now.. www.memoriesofthorpepark.co.uk/wpimages/7af6.jpg - If you want to see it in the old location... :)
The admin burden across the years is bad enough... let alone doing a through the year format. Blimey, the series would never end.. I think the trade off is multiple year gaps but forgiving the fine details that are missed until it is time to redo or you're forced to update
The drop reminds me of the absolute best B&M Hyper... Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure! Now the thoosies get triggered at my controversial opinion :)
hmmm no pre drop is no pre drop? I believe that every sit down looper expect led zeppelin had a pre drop to release tension on the chain. In '94 it definitively would've, and yes i know im being that guy.
Well spotted, sherlock. Although, I must ask. When the creator quite explicitly says "don't try and correct this, it is 100% correct, trust me I know my stuff thanks to working with B&M in the past and here's 4 mins of commentary outlining every small detail about layout possibilities in 1994" was your first thought to do exaclty that?
My take is that the “well actually” is just people trying to help with the park being even more realistic - it’s not a critique of your skills in any way. Your attention to detail is fantastic especially with the coaster profiling, so it is frustrating to see things like the missing pre drop . en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolliger_%26_Mabillard#:~:text=client%20theme%20parks.-,Lift%20hills,stress%20on%20the%20lift%20chain. The first ride without a predrop didn’t come around to the mid 2000s, the reason being that the lift chain motors were then able to accelerate to match the speed of the coaster dropping, tech that wasn’t available in the 90s. The good news is that you absolutely do have the space to add in the predrop which would ultimately make the ride as realistic as the rest of the profiling
@@Nerdchacho ah right, eyeballing it I would have thought a slightly steeper ascent and a tighter transition would do it. I guess something we’ll have to live with 😅
Yeah, that's the thing.. When I was chatting with a guy at B&M, he confirmed that in the 90's they didn't NEED them, but they had them for the reasons you outline above. I cut it all out because it was 2 mins of me waffling about lift hills. It is what it is and creative liberty was made to fit it into the space thanks to where the dive loop is.
I triple-dog-dare you to give us a Raging Bull-style B&M hyper twister. Best first drop in the world, coming to the MYLE.
Oh man, I've been toying with a Silver Star style airtime machine, but don't have room on the time-line for it...

1994! I adore the radio-like intro. What a nice park this is. You put so much care into your videos, truly wonderful.
This is a really good theme park so far, i cant wait for what the park has to offer in the future
There's some proper fun stuff coming too... I've been designing ahead of time ;)
@@Nerdchacho soon you should add some more flat rides in, and maybe a new family coaster aswell
I was hoping for either a Nemesis or a Pepsi max and I think I got the best of both worlds! Great sightlines again!

a 1994 b/m should have a pre drop with trim brake

U nailed the kumba feel
I can’t believe it wasn’t called like Dragon’s breath or flight of the dragon 😂 They seem like 90’a names that would of honoured its past
It was, at one point, called Dragon's Tail. Then Arthur's Dragon... but none of it felt 90's enough. Draco won in the end

Shouldn't it have a pre-drop?

Noooo chacho don’t visit their patio 🤣
I used to live in the area... 🙈
How many inversions did it have
8, I think...
loop, dive, zero G, cobra, reverse sidewinder, 2 x corkscrews.
Also, a little sad you decided to go safe, BORING, old, reliable B&M and not the sweet, cool, janky, AWESOME Drachen Fire-style Arrow.
Haha... with "3" Arrows in the park, it's time to swap it up and eventually replace them all with B&Ms :D
I love this build! It looks amazing!!The big question is though, would this ride get the Nemesis / Incredible Hulk treatment by the 2020’s?
It possibly would, yes. It would probably be converted to a floorless with it.. ;)
BM for the win!!! Yeah Baby! The long awaited coaster wars! Bigger! Better! Faster! Here we go!!!

Don't worry, they're too busy being triggered by the "missing" pre-drop that B&Ms didn't need to have in 1994..

Sadly not. I did toy with it but alas hard to fit in with the theme
@@Nerdchacho That's fair and tbh there aren't many good antonym's to begin with.
