since i currently working on a extrem brutal apocalyptic modpack all i want are some cool mechs and here we go i might have to test a bit since this is fab. and my modpack will be forge but i know a way,but we will def. need more mechs like that or other types of war-machines
For anyone curious, you can actually get this mod running on Forge by using the connector system. That means it works with more Forge mods; just test out which ones work and which don’t. They work in the following order with just the mod from the video; haven’t tested it with anything else yet: - Forge: Sinytra Connector, Forgified Fabric API, Architectury Api, Leawind's Third Person. - Fabric: Geckolib, Pomkots Mechs. With those mods and in that order, it should work for you. ;)
Just gave it a test run on Alpha 2. Super fun potential, but i think i might just be a dumbass. Besides boosting around, the stab attack, and manual aim for both it and the machine gun - I couldnt get anything els to work. Interestingly enough i could pilot the boss. That was a fun for a little while too!

Especially, key config and leawinds tp setting are important! If so, it may be a bug or some other mods might be conflicting. Like any plans for abandoned or factory biomes /dungeons, or perhaps a questing/job system, and for me particular- customization /mech variety? In my initial testing for myself and a friend I tried to include Magitek Mecha as like a 'lesser but early available' type thing, but ironically I couldn't get my head around that either at time time. But doing so also meant being in Fabric, and it seems everything else tech-y is on Forge alone. So I'm probably gonna drop that in favor of seeing how Mekanism or Oritech and similar might feel, despite not really being pilot oriented. Alongside the other few and far between options like Armored Redstone. But I genuinely can't wait to combine this with like Valkyrian Skies to have a real assault craft to fly into like Lost City biomes from the identically named mod, or the stargates/immersive portals shenanigans and fly out a slipspace graphic. And bring in like some Nier Automata map generation/mobs and/or resource packs for theme alone if nothing else. Plus fighting Engels and Marx? Hell yes. All that said I must say that I'm a *huuuge* fan of Battletech, UC gundam, Zoids, and other Big Stompie stuff or even Titanfall/Hawks. This single handedly made me almost wanna learn to be a programmer just to custom make an Ace Combat brief cinematic before going to the hanger with some MechWarrior/Gundam Breaker type loadout screen and then rush to my mech xD

Sorry it’s in Japanese, but I’ve written about it on the website linked below-try using Google Translate to read it! While working on the aforementioned game, I’ll likely end up with a large bank of Lost City-style buildings, along with mobs and bosses to populate them. So if there’s a programmer out there who’s knowledgeable about terrain generation, I’d love for someone to use that as a base to create a mod for generating dynamic maps! (I could try to do it myself, but I just don’t have the time. Between my 9-to-5 boring job and taking care of my family, my hands are full, lol.) Also, in terms of adding new mechs, I plan to just keep adding any fun ideas that come to mind, separate from the game I mentioned earlier! umm, that's difficult to answer... it depends on (1) how forge porting is difficult. (2) how many critical bugs will be found for alpha1 i will work on (1) this week-end and hope i will be able to estimate!
