I understand neymar can dive and may be a touch dramatic but whenever I watch him play and watch the replays of the “fouls” they usually are actually fouls. Defenders get extremely frustrated playing with such a gifted dribbler.
You can see they start to just push him down shamelessly in frustration at some point NFKSKAKSMKS

It's funny but at the same time it's sad, because now that he's older the injuries happen more oftenly and makes him lose confidence and desire to play since he knows people are just gonna foul him and they most likely will not book them since he's got bad rep for diving..
In my opinion, any kind of situation where it's dangerous and frustrated tackles, pulling the shirt , tackles that caused injuries or when the dude tackles someone that doesn't have the ball should all be yellow cards at least.. The sport is becoming more and more about strength, speed and strategy while also making the life of who is actually skilled enough to be a dribbler harder. I personally think dribbling should be more appreciated and that the rules should protect talented players like that. Of course it's a team game but you gotta make it fair for those that are more skilled individually as well..

Fr im not saying thats why they won, but in Brasil's Quarter Final WC game against Croacia, Brozovic and Perisic should have received the red card, Brozovic made a lot of fouls (mainly in Neymar like you said, he was manmarking him, very well actually, but its Neymar, só he was the player who had more shoots in goal, important passes and playmaking, scored the goal, etc) but he already had a yellow card, this ngg made like 5/6 fouls in the 2o half, at least 2 of them should have received a yellow, Perisic was trying tô get on Antonys head, but the boy was cool, not feelling the pressure, so Perisic try to start a fight, there's 2 times in this game where he used hes elbow tô hit Antonys face, unfortunally the referee didn't see it, and this guy seemed not to like the Brasilian way of playing...
