As must have become so abundantly clear to Lee the first time he played an Eidolon, Leon could far more easily play the waiting game. Spellskite. If you're not playing Kiki-Jiki (he isn't), you basically can't combo off with a 'skite on the table. Also, it gets Linvala (same problem but even worse), although that's less relevant with Pod gone.
game 3 when lee cracked the fetch land before drawing the molten rain it looked like the top card on his deck was rift bolt. if he wouldnt have cracked the fetch until after his draw he could have won
