She went to school for nutrition and graduated from a school of functional medicine because she’s always been a advocate for clean eating, and nontoxic household items. My dad has MS (an auto immune disease) but his symptoms are managed through a very specific diet, mostly why my family eats the way we do. That lady isn’t a “crunchy” mom. She’s fucking crazy. I bet you my mother would out-crunchy her any day, and my teeth aren’t rotting out. The sugar content in only eating fruit is absolutely unhealthy, no matter how organic it is. I stg that lady needs her kids taken.

My dad has MS and was diagnosed about 20 years ago (relapsing-remitting). Just curious what kind of diet your dad is on. Mine is burgers, pizza, beer diet, no MS meds, weed, and knock on wood hasn't had more than 2 minor flares up in 10 years. Stays active for the most part. Trust me, I try to encourage him to eat healthy like my mom but he has been healthier not being on MS meds. Cardiac wise it's catching up though.

The pretnatal vitamin comment she made .. my mom couldn’t afford prenatals (this was in another poor country) when she was pregnant with me. The bunny thing really pissed me off. I got a bunny when I was 13 because she was being neglected by her previous owners and even though I knew nothing about rabbits I made sure I educated myself to give her a good long 10 years. We wash our clothes with vinegar and also detergent.. vinegar is really good at keeping the “musty” scent out of old washers.. we have an old washer that used to have a scent from previous owners leaving clothes in them for too long.. basically dry rot scent.. vinegar took it away you’ll see a ton of people who work on washers recommend you use vinegar and not fabric softener bc it can ruin your washer. Nothing is wrong with washing your clothes with vinegar.. everything else in the video is wrong lmao this is the only thing that’s not weird.

My mum was basically like this (not as extreme) when i was younger. Dessert was like one singular piece of chocolate, avocado and carrot smoothies, dried fruit for school and weird brown bread. My 2 yr old is clean for like 2 minutes after a bath. And her hair looks like a hot mess even though I do it every morning. She’s my 3rd, my older 2 are teens. I’ve given up on caring so much about worrying if her shirt has a stain before we go to the store, or what people think. She’s healthy and happy, and well taken care of. I'm so proud of my country, which is the Philippines, especially for mothers like me. Most of us don't have the means and privilege to have decent health care/health insurance. But we can and will move heaven and earth just to provide for our kids... Some of the people live in the mountains and don't have the access to free healthcare since they live so far from the nearest healthcare clinic, but when they were told of things they need to do, they listen. So it fumes me when mothers like these (privilege and have means) just neglect the facts of a healthy living; and forced their kids to the kind of lifestyle they want... Some are just mentally unstable and needs helps, but still, if you need help, ask for it. Don't use the internet for clout and don't include your kids with your BS.
When ever you restrict SO heavily when pregnant or restrict your toddlers diet like that. You are setting up your child to being intolerant to SO many foods and having HORRIBLE digestive issues when they get older and decide to eat other food, but IMAGINE how these children will feel in the future. So sad :(
alice also doesn’t believe in sunscreen and purposely sits in the sun with fern for sometimes HOURS a day and when a dermatologist politely offered her advice that sunscreen was completely safe and the thing that caused cancer was unprotected sun exposure, she full on went off on him and told him that “she’s a stay at home mom who spends her days doing research so she knows what she’s talking about.” she also calls cribs baby jails, doesn’t have fern on a sleep schedule and let’s him sleep/be awake whenever he wants (which is usually awake at night and sleeping during the day), and regularly attacks moms who use formula because in her mind, it doesn’t matter if that’s the only option and if you don’t use formula your baby will starve to death- you should still breastfeed. and those are just the things i could think of off the top of my head. she’s absolutely insane and dangerous. social services should be involved and she should get psychiatric treatment. i know she does a lot of the things she does because of the traumatic birth and loss of her first child, but she could lose fern too if she doesn’t change and get help for herself

I did/do walk around without shoes quite often but whenever we went in areas with more sharp sticks/rocks/burs/snakes, the boots went on!! I was also unvaccinated because my parents thought that was the best thing to do at the time but they have since said that looking back they would have preferred to vaccinate me. We tried to eat organic, spend lots of time outside, we didn’t own a tv for years, and I was born in a hospital with a midwife. I think that level of crunchy was fine but this is overboard…

The pretnatal vitamin comment she made .. my mom couldn’t afford prenatals (this was in another poor country) when she was pregnant with me. Not enough nutrients and stress caused two of her teeth to literally fall out. These moms are fucking entitled and piss me off. I got a bunny when I was 13 because she was being neglected by her previous owners and even though I knew nothing about rabbits I made sure I educated myself to give her a good long 10 years. We wash our clothes with vinegar and also detergent.. vinegar is really good at keeping the “musty” scent out of old washers.. we have an old washer that used to have a scent from previous owners leaving clothes in them for too long.. basically dry rot scent.. vinegar took it away you’ll see a ton of people who work on washers recommend you use vinegar and not fabric softener bc it can ruin your washer. Nothing is wrong with washing your clothes with vinegar.. everything else in the video is wrong lmao this is the only thing that’s not weird.

My mum was basically like this (not as extreme) when i was younger. Dessert was like one singular piece of chocolate, avocado and carrot smoothies, dried fruit for school and weird brown bread. Miserable it was, the funny thing is we would use like organic toothpaste and stuff and i would still get a shit ton of cavities.

My 2 yr old is clean for like 2 minutes after a bath. And her hair looks like a hot mess even though I do it every morning. She’s my 3rd, my older 2 are teens. And I feel that you know, for a lot of products you can find good alternatives (detergents that are biodegradable and don’t pollute the planet as much etc), but thinking that everything is literally gonna kill you should be considered a mental disorder. I'm so proud of my country, which is the Philippines, especially for mothers like me. Most of us don't have the means and privilege to have decent health care/health insurance. But we can and will move heaven and earth just to provide for our kids... Some of the people live in the mountains and don't have the access to free healthcare since they live so far from the nearest healthcare clinic, but when they were told of things they need to do, they listen. So it fumes me when mothers like these (privilege and have means) just neglect the facts of a healthy living; and forced their kids to the kind of lifestyle they want... Some are just mentally unstable and needs helps, but still, if you need help, ask for it. Don't use the internet for clout and don't include your kids with your BS.

and those are just the things i could think of off the top of my head. she’s absolutely insane and dangerous. social services should be involved and she should get psychiatric treatment. i know she does a lot of the things she does because of the traumatic birth and loss of her first child, but she could lose fern too if she doesn’t change and get help for herself

I grew up in a pretty crunchy household and we lived in a very rural area. I did/do walk around without shoes quite often but whenever we went in areas with more sharp sticks/rocks/burs/snakes, the boots went on!! I was also unvaccinated because my parents thought that was the best thing to do at the time but they have since said that looking back they would have preferred to vaccinate me. We tried to eat organic, spend lots of time outside, we didn’t own a tv for years, and I was born in a hospital with a midwife. I think that level of crunchy was fine but this is overboard…
