It would appear that Trinidad and it's people are backward thinking in clearing land of valuable trees that not only provides landscape, beauty ,protects/sustains nature (wild animals and insect) ,the land and soil, but cleans the air and keep is all healthy . Just think how scenically beautiful this drive would have been if there were more trees and vegatation. Many thank for sharing your filming with us . I am looking at it from the UK and will send it to family and friends.
Trinidad and Tobago is the most biodiversity islands also one of the most developed in the caribbean region What your suggesting is irrelevant as T&T already has beauty all around the country A mixture of nature and urban development
Angela Lum Wai What you're saying is correct!!! I'm originally from Belmont, Port-of-Spain & even during the 1970's there were complaints among the locals of soil erosion due to the cutting down of too many trees. By the time I was 5 or 6 my family had moved to a district called Mt. D'Or Rd. Champ Fleurs. There we lived high up on a hill that was lush with green vegetation. From there other large hills lush with vegetation can be seen. This was the late 60's early 70's. To date its the best scenery I've ever witnessed.
Long drive to chatham
is solomon hochoy a freeway?
