Never in my life did I think I would/could make homemade BBQ sauce. But I had an abundance of tomatoes this year and was looking to do something I hadnt done before and came across this recipe....and I just had to! I am so glad I did. Tangy, spicy with a bit of a kick. I split in 2 pots and made 1 with a little extra honey and molasses and the other just as her recipe calls for. Delicious! I cant wait to try it on something grilled. 😛

@@alyonascooking I also took it one step further. I had some frozen black cherries and cooked them down then blended them up with an immersion blender. Then added some of the BBQ sauce to it and cooked it down another 30 mins or so. Amazing flavor! May or May not be considered shelf stable but it won't last long on the shelf. Sooo good! How long will it last?
It should last as long as any canned sauce. Keep in the fridge after opening.
Way too much vinegar! Would be ok with 1 1/2 cups only.
