Thank you, Jonny, for that great and honest, non bias review. I'm like you. I don't mind spending my hard earned cash on both new and past magic I may have missed out on but I am very selective and finicky specially when I've paid up to the tune of $300 for a single routine and as much as $1200 on an order containing various ones and the two big dealers can attest to that. It does hurt when you feel you don't get what you paid for, but I guess it's something we have to live with, or everyone would be returning items constantly and the dealers would feel the crunch. Keep up the good work. Love your channel.
Thanks GC so much, I really appreciate your kind words. This was one of those releases where I just feel like in this day and age you can not charge someone $80 and provide only 7 minutes of tutorial when that is the cheapest part of the entire production. I appreciate you being here and watching. Thanks.
Thank you for the review. I can see how some one who has never owned a Wow gimmick would be "underwhelmed". I own (almost) every version of the Wow gimmick. The only one I don't have is the version that is included with this wallet and I've been trying to get one for a while. I already know how the gimmick works. So, for me, I feel that I am paying for a Wow gimmick inside a "leather-ish" wallet. I feel that it makes the gimmick more acceptable "in the real world". I thought I would hear some flaws with the gimmick or the wallet or the quality of the physical product. So thank you for the review. Your review has absolutely convinced me to buy this! 😃
Hey Theo, Loved seeing your comment and your perspective. I really want to like the WOW gimmick but have struggled to enjoy it. I pull it out from time to time and putz with it for awhile and consider it but then quickly goes back into the magic drawer. I think you have nailed it in in regards to how this WOW gimmicked is packaged as the leatherish wallet. I agree that it presents in a way that is really nice. I am glad the review was helpful and appreciate you being here. Have an awesome day.
Hey Stephen, Thank You So Much. Just want to acknowledge that it is nice to have you here and I enjoy watching the video's you have posted on your channel, I would love to see more. Take Care.
Hi Jonny, well I’m sure many will agree we have all been there when something does quite meet our expectations but we live and learn I guess! And WOW 7.15 I mean really? I’ve had many downloads that last longer and that didn’t cost $80 either. And your right it could be added to something but there are other products that can do this I’m sure. Great honest review as per usual!
Hey Fletch, Thanks. Yeah I feel like we are in a time where it cost basically nothing to shoot a tutorial and that should be the cheapest part of the production and therefore where the creator can add value to the release and this one missed the mark completely. I hope you know I really appreciate your viewership and hope these reviews are helpful. Have a good one.
Great fiddle tune Jonny, crikey it's a bit expensive to say the least!! you will have saved a few hobbyists from another overhyped purchase,.I had a clear out from my magic drawer a few years ago and couldn't believe the crap I had bought and the money I had wasted. Looking forward to the next review 😀
Thanks John, I must be honest that when I was done with learning and practicing and then going back to see how much I had paid for it I was not at all happy. I am at that point with having done so many reviews that I have a lot of releases that I do not perform. I keep debating on whether to do a giveaway or try to recoup some of my losses by selling them on Craigslist or ebay. Thanks for watching and I hope I can help people make better informed choices on their purchases. Take care my friend.
Thank you for the honest review 👍🏻. To me one shall really differentiate utility devices from routines. I fully agree that it is greatly underwowming to make so little out of the routining potential of this gimmick and in an ideal world they would have involved the 1914 or Craig or Javier to make this awowsome. So in that respect the price tag is too high. Especially for a beginner. On the other hand the potential of the wow-method was always a bit wasted as it is not really an EDC or in any way an „organic“ prop. With this in a way you can „ change the game“. Is this worth the money ? For some it will be, for most probably not. For mentalists it may become really great as mentalist often lacks the visual aspect.
Yo Cart, this may be one of my favorite comments on the WOW gimmick so far. I think you have raised some really good points. I personally had a lot of internal dialogue regarding this review because you are right it is a utility device and I do think it is important to highlight that versus that you are purchasing a routine. At the end of the day given the price I do strongly think they need to include more routines. All right I am probably starting to repeat myself from the review. I appreciate your thoughtful thinking regarding this release. Have a great day.
I've also heard removing the cards from the case is hard to do and awkward due to the leather aspect making it sticky to pull out? Do you find that also? And I've heard the view window is not that clear like the original wow. Do you feel the same. Too bad they sold this for 80.00 US. Unreal
Hello VicDini, I am so glad you left this comment. This unfortunately is one of those releases that has for me gone into the drawer and gets no use. I had forgotten a bit about this one and went and grabbed it out of the drawer when I received your comment. Let me be clear I found this release to be a waste of my money. I did not however have any issues pulling the card in or out of the gimmick but I did find that it was not as clear as I would like it to be when I go for the reveal. It is not horrible in that respect but may not be as good as the original. Ok now I am putting this gimmick back in the drawer. Thanks for leaving the comment and hope you are doing well.
Hi Johnny, loved the review. Wish I'd watched it before purchasing it over here in the UK. To add insult to injury, the password incorporated on the packaging is in Japanese. So i can't even watch the online tutorial. Not good.
Hey Darren, Well That Sucks!!!!!! My Wow is sitting here right next to me as I write this and I keep playing around with it but still am not satisfied with it. It will be going in the drawer. Thanks so much for watching and appreciate that you are here.
Hi Jonny. I have to agree, $80 is too much for this device. I think a fair price would have been ~$50 (just comparing it to wallet/luggage name tags that have been released in the past). It would have been nice if it came as a "project", much like many of Craig Petty's or 2014 releases, whereby it comes with 2 hours (or more) of routines making it more worthy. Having said that, this is probably the best "Wow" device in terms of motivation (as a pass case, name card holder). All of the other WOW devices (I forget which one I have) is basically a sleeve that performs the change (same mechanism in all of them). It is always odd bringing it out of your pocket and trying to justify it....ie. a baseball card protector, UV light filter, etc. Thanks again for your review.
KC I think you have hit it out of the park with your comment. It is so spot on in my opinion. I think it is important to highlight as you have done that out of all the Wow gimmicks this is the one that gets the closest to having a justification as an object that makes sense. Thanks so much for the comment and watching the review, I appreciate it.
Hey Tom, thanks so much for bringing up this point. I debated whether to talk about the different wow releases and doing some comparison. I am curious for others reading the comments if there is one of the Wow releases that they really liked and felt they got a good value for what they received. Thanks Tom for watching and the comment.
Hi Jonny. I do like some of the effects possible but I'm with you re price. It is a bit heavy for what you're getting. How brief is that tutorial? Jeez. If it was something from Mr Petty or 1914 you'd be getting tutorials, tips and advice that would take a week to watch! Take it easy buddy.
Hey Gary, I too kept thinking if Craig had released this then I know I would have received about 5 hours of tutorial and been happy to get it. Hope you are doing well.
Hey Flipped Over Productions. I kept thinking about Craig when I was watching the tutorial and how much better it would have been had Craig done the tutorial. Craig really does understand the WOW gimmick and how to incorporate it and get the maximum use out of it. I feel when you are dropping $80 it deserves more than 4 minutes of a routine and an explanation. Thanks for watching and hope you are doing well.

you could probably do the same effect with the original WoW all be it no leather around the gimmick just saying
