- Michael + Kayla met via social media years ago while he was deployed in Afghanistan. They fell in love, got married but had a really rough few years. They made the choice to renew their vows and start fresh. "We just want a film that will show how much love we have always had for each other, despite our bad days. We worked our butts off to get through those bad days and we’re just so proud of where we are now!" From pregnancy loses, to deployment, they've fought tooth and nail for their marriage and for their family. We couldn't have been happier to have been apart of this and create this film for them. We incorporated personal videos Michael and Kayla had, especially the moment Michael gets to meet his 6 months old daughter for the first time.

Oh wow, so beautiful and inspiring. My husband and I are renewing our vows this time next year after ten years of marriage, I can't wait. Ours won't be as pretty as this - I always wanted to elope to Vegas so we're doing our own version of that here in the UK! this time our 8 year old daughter will be there with us to hear our vows- last time she was in my tummy, she was 6 months and she kicked all day.
Last time I was younger, I hadn't been to therapy yet, I was living in fear of an abusive dad, and I was anxious beyond belief about people watching us get married. I don't even remember saying my vows because I was so nervous, it felt like a job interview. This time it will just be us and our daughter, I'm going to wear a mini dress and whatever vintage veil and flowers I find in charity shops - got to find the treasure, it's half the fun.
Were going to renew our vows, then go down to the seaside town and have milkshakes at a diner, fish and chips, and go to the funfair on the pier and then bowling. I plan to wear my veil and carry my flowers the whole day. And this time, because it's just us, I will be able to focus on our vows and really hear them. I truly feel that we've come a long way in ten years as a couple but also as individuals-this renewal will reflect that growth, and allow me to take back some of the joy I wish I'd had on our wedding day - if only I knew back then that it's possible to stop people pleasing, set boundaries and say no, and there's no more important day to do it than your own wedding day which should be about the two of you and the promises you're making.
Thank you for inspiring me with your vows, I'm even more excited now! I love that you both admit things have been hard and you've come a long way, marriage is a beautiful thing but it certainly isn't easy
