Nhan's videos are always so fun to watch. and this complicity with his friend Gab the delicious Filipino is a pleasure to see. I really like the naughty allusions in the vegetable section and when making spring rolls. So much good humor and joy of living shared it refreshes the mind and warms the heart. Thank you all ! Thierry Denis the french monkey from Go Vap in Sai Gon.
everyone else: focusing on trying to learn vietnamese. meanwhile me: who was taking all the science advice gab was giving and watching Nhan and friends getting confused 😂😂
Nhân and Gab, you are simply the best experience in social media. Your friendship and content make my day happier. Thank you so much for the joy you share --through entertainment --with the world. ❤🧡💛💚💙
That worked really well... 🤪 There were a couple of "excursions" into English, which meant the challenge didn't quite work (for the first time while cooking). This results in deductions in the awarding of points/grading. 😁 Do you know the Joshy & Hai channel? It's similar to the two boys you were with in the park. Hai is also Vietnamese and Josh is from Canada. They met and fell in love in Japan, became a couple who made TH-cam together and most recently lived together in Vietnam.
Hi Nhan, I can relate to your concern about losing your dialect. Having been born in Montreal Canada, I moved to California because of my father aerospace background and currently live in Washington State. I was only 8 years old having just started third grade when we moved, hence I had no English language education. Therefore I totally understand how difficult it is to maintain the language of your native tongue. I’ve returned home numerous times when young but as I grew older the opportunity to speak and visit became less henceforth I’ve lost a lot of my French . It was nice seeing you trying to communicate in Vietnamese even though some of your friends didn’t, meeting your two friends was very interesting and especially speaking Vietnamese 👍. Great video take care and stay healthy. 🫰🏼🙋♂️🏳️🌈
Hi Nhan and friends, This was a great video. Very interesting to hear. Maybe you can do this again soon. I had no idea what you were saying, but Gab's interpretation was a winner. Take care and stay safe till next time. ❤
I just finished watching a Vietnamese BL, so this was interesting to watch after hearing many, many hours of Vietnamese drama. I can't imagine losing my English, but I suppose English is everywhere, where as Vietnamese is not, sadly. I want to learn Vietnamese someday. FYI, from Canada.
The funniest thing is that without subtitles, I'd have no idea what the vast majority of the Vietnamese means. However, suddenly I heard a Chinese loanword that is also the same loanword that is used in Korean! (문화 "moonhua," culture).
NHAN, I HA VE FOLLOWED YOU SIINCE YYOU STARTD. YOU HAVE COME A. LONG WAY,,-- FOR THE BETTER. LOVE YOUR HAIR ,YOU LOOK SO GOOD.. LOVE GAB-- DON,T OVER LOOK HIM.. GREAT MATCH.❤❤❤❤❤.
Gab is not a boyfriend lol, they just made sexual jokes cause they're goofy, they've already cleared it in a Q&A that they're just friends and never dated.
Trust me, I know what you mean when you infer that your Vietnamese degrades with lack of practice. I tell everyone that while I am beginning to make out signs in Vietnam, when I try to speak Vietnamese only my Vietnamese spouse can consistently understamd me. Worse, when he repeats something I said to his friends and family, I understand him perfectly, and think "Didn't I just say just that? Apparently not!" 😅 Having watched the video, it was good practice for me! My spouse and I have plans to live in Vietnam eventually, so I need to speak to his friends and family better! I can understand many words but there's still a lot of new vocabulary in this video! ❤
Such a beautiful language. Thanks for doing this! Here's a question...When you're thinking about things just in general, do you think in Vietnamese or in English? Or do the languages trade off in your head? I remember attempting to learn Russian and I wanted to get to a point where I would think in Russian. It never happened but it would be interesting to get to that point where it would be as natural as your native language.
Khanh and Callum is a "green flag" couple. They look quite nice and honest so this is also a sign for Nhân to consider once you go towards a love relationship. Take it slow and connect to another at intimate level by being so transparent and straightforward. I will not believe in a guy who does not show enough affection and care and avoid camera when he accompanies with you That's why I like your connection with Gab so much but yeah I do not want you to rush into a relationship anything. Just let things go with the flow ☺
Hello from San Francisco. Where do u live in the UK? I’m going to be in London next month. I want to ask if u know any good Vietnamese restaurants. My friends think I will not like British food.
I've always liked a Vietnamese accent on guys and having seriously dated a couple I also kind of enjoyed when they spoke Vietnamese - to friends, family, at restaurants, or even to me. (Since one of these relationship lasted several years, and because we took a couple months to tour VN, I eventually learned to understand basic Vietnamese - alas I am the typical English speaker who's totally useless at tonal languages - let my mortification get the better of me and eventually stopped trying) All that said, I really dislike Vietnamese spoken by a woman; nails on a chalkboard.
wdym you left Vietnam at 16 and FORGOT your Vietnamese lmao … If it’s your mother tongue, I’m sorry bb but it’s crystalised knowledge. It’s not something you forget stop lying to yourself lol
