- Motorsport in the rain means that things get a little bit more chaotic than they were. The beasts of the RAC TT and the F1 cars of the Glover Trophy both discovered this at the Goodwood Revival. Away from that there were awesome moments from Lotus F1 cars, tiny Austins, touting cars and more.

The engine sounds of classic race cars are just so cool
Sunday was my first “revival” and I am now sure it will not be my last. A delightful and thrilling days entertainment. ❤
i've said it before...but this is REALracing, in beautiful cars on a great track......fantastic.......i really must go see it for real one day....
Absolutely do. It was absolutely wonderful.
Incredible moments. It's so crazy to see these classic cars battling with their elbows fully out.
Just like back in the day!
Memories of days gone by.
EXCRUCIATINGLY AWESOME!
Fun video. Thanks for posting
That particular model of T-bird has been my favourite since the year it was released. What a pleasure to see it in combat! As we used to say in the pony car days "Gimme cubes!"
They needed big capacity to make any power because they were stone age tech...even in the 1960's
An amazing weekend of frantic racing, what a treat!
when i was younger there used to be a street circuit where i live. It's racing history goes as far back as the 30's, but recently they stopped doing it. Anyway, I used to go with my dad and watch the races, there were quite a few categories throughout the weekend. (My favorite race was usually the fiat uno cup. There was something magical about seeing 20/30 500$ cars go wild in a track).
I "hated" the classics because drivers were always afraid of risking the cars, so it was more of a parade than a race, even though it was a race. What amazes me here, is that these pilots are not holding back! What a joy to see these cars race in modern times! It must be quite a thrill to drive those on the edge
How come they stopped?
Circuito da Boavista in Porto, Portugal. I'm 30, so back when I was attending the races with my dad, it was already like a revival of the circuit because they stopped doing it for so long. Nowadays, I would guess politics is the main reason they don't do it anymore. It was pretty cool to drive the circuit the night before in my late grandpa's Hillmann Minx! Great memories!
@@O_pai_fpv Thank you for explaining. 🤩
@@Good-DaySunshine just in case some of you are interested, a documentary about that cirtcuit with footage going back to 1910 has just popped on my feed. Just serach for : Boavista F1 Circuit History, Crashes and Onboard
The narrator's accent is terrible and sometimes hard to understand, but the content is amazing
@@O_pai_fpv cool thanks!
Introductory soundtrack is spot on
Jag sounds nice!
The race against the Thunderbird is generally a foregone conclusion. Even damp conditions couldn't help the E-Types.
He needs to pick on some opposition of his own size! 😄
Estos no necesitan altavoces para que suenen sus motores.....❤
Que pasada de coches❤!!!
🏁🏁🏁🏁👏👏👏👏
what's the little car running with the 2 Jags? Austin something? what engine?
It's a race car based on the Austin A35, which was produced 1956 - 1968. They originally came with 948cc or 1098cc Austin A-series engines. Later the British Historic Racing Drivers' Club (HRDC) created an "HRDC Academy" spec series using the A35 as a basis; these are full-race cars with professionally built 1275cc engines, stripped interiors, full roll cage, and often fiberglass fenders and bumpers.
Better racing than the f1 this year
