Dont change the things you say, thats why we watch. Come for the mods, stay for the Sarahisums.
Well said!
Here Here!!
Another epic job on 🇺🇸🏴🙏😎
*isms
I find a day is wasted if I don’t say or hear “clipperdoodle.”
Another project! You are the hardest working person doing car jobs on the internet.
Sarah we know you're still going to put your very best into this just because it's for Charlie, and every video with Charlie and Angel are ALWAYS filled with EXCELLENT information that translates well to the camera! I hope you guys had a lot of fun! 🥳
POR 15 tip....on opened cans it's easier to drill a hole in the lid and stick a bolt in the hole when you're done and use a disposable container to apply the paint, than try to remove the lid again. I just shake the can vigorously and after the first use I'll drop a 5/16 nut in the can for mixing purposes.
Nice seeing you and Rookie Pilot working on a project together.
Great content Sarah. I love how you can flip from Japanese sport cars to Detroit pickups without missing a beat.
100% agree!!
Yep. Love the variety. That's why I'm here.
F350 is Windsor not Detroit
Just an fyi
Just when we think that your going to Zig, Sarah you Zag and surprise us all with "Now for something, completely different " which makes us ❤ your channel, keep it up 😊
Amazing and wonderful what you are doing. Helping to clean up the truck, swapping another engine and considering you gave it to Charlie. You are truly a great friend and an outstanding person. After meeting you and Angel in your garage a couple months ago, I know what I am talking about. Take the praise, you deserve it. When you guys are finished with it, it's going to be one super duty machine!
Liberty, taking the word in its concrete sense, consists in the ability to choose.
I actually like the look of the frame where you painted POR on it. It’s certainly utilitarian and beastly looking. Kudos to living in a dry climate. Earth is not a vehicle-friendly planet, especially in Indiana where I live. I wish body panels could be made of my grandmother’s Tupperware. Rust is vehicular cancer. As usual, your projects are super well thought out and executed. Keep it up!
GM already did the plastic body panels thing. They called it "Saturn". Then they killed it.
@@TJDST4fun fact: Saturns melt in Arizona
@SarahnTuned ...oof...
Yeah, that's not something I knew, and a shame that GM's engineers didn't either, apparently...
@@SarahnTuned Indeed, I've experienced Phoenix summers. Working outside in jeans and a long sleeve shirt in the middle of August is very much no bueno. I was a UTI student in 1993, and at the time their main campus had all the garage space outside.
There are less corrosive alternatives to treat the roads. My inner conspiracy theorist wants to know if the states that still use it are being incentivize by the big three. Another thing about those Saturn panels, big hail would punch through them leaving a smiley face crack as evidence instead of dents.
Every other TH-camr today: 2024 Tacoma.
Sarah: 2005 F350.
Love it!
Yeah, I don’t go to those press events anymore, they’re not worth the travel time and the videos turn out terrible.
@@SarahnTuned I'd rather see your review when you take it to your usual off road place
@@SarahnTuned Speaking of new Taco I'm really thinking about the new Taco Pre-Runner as my next truck in a few years. Hopefully you can get your hands on this utilitarian 2wd trim level. I use my truck as a truck but what I use one for doesn't require a fullsize even though that's what I've had all these years.
@@SarahnTunedI use Scotch broten.
Another great video Sarah, great to see Charlie and angel fruit cake back on the channel 😊😊
Speaking as one who works for a Coal Mine in Wyoming, a slurry truck pumps Emulsion (a combination of Ammonia Nitrate and diesel fuel) into the holes drill into the overburden (the layer of dirt covering the coal bed).
The intention of the blast (called a shot) is to shove approximately 60% of the overburden into the pit left behind by the removal of the previous coal extraction.
After the shot has settled, gargantuan dozers are used to push the remaining overburden into the pit, where even more gargantuan walking buildings called draglines will spread the material out.
It’s quite the site to see.
Black Thunder? I was just there lol! I work for cat in draglines and ropeshvels
@@ApeShift No. I’m at WyoDak. It almost exclusively feeds the power station. I’ve also worked at NARM, the world’s largest coal mine.
It'll be interesting to see Sarah's vision of a work truck. Looking forward to the next episode. 😎
This jumping around between cars is fun.
Thanks!
The 6.0 gets a lot more flack than it deserves. The only things needed to bulletproof the engine is an ARP head stud kit and replace the OEM EGR cooler with a Banks unit.
Agreed !!! Mine went to 850k miles , bulletprofed since 60k , turned up to 700tq, pulling gooseneck 15-20k pounds daily with 5k mile oil changes.
Best truck I had for reliability.
You should have seen the bloodbath of comments when I first said I was keeping the 6.0 and bulletproofing it. I agree they can be made reliable. It worked out well though that this other truck popped up for sale and Charlie’s brother needed to sell that Cummins.
@@SarahnTuned Yeah that 6.0 is a decent engine. Its not a powerhouse and wasn’t designed to be one. Ford should have held onto it rather than that papier-mâché catastrophe that was its replacement.
The only way to bulletproof a 6.4 is to yank it out and replace it with a 24 valve Cummins.
Love vanquishes time. To lovers, a moment can be eternity, eternity can be the tick of a clock.
Showing the world once again that Sarah runs a well rounded shop. Loads of work being done and it's all the usual suspects doing the hands on.
You bought it for Charlie? You perfect doll.
3,000+ views in 17 minutes? I'm not the only one who thinks so, apparently because I'm just sitting here watching the views numbers and the thumbs up numbers keep spinning up every couple of seconds. And congratulations on *600,000+* subscribers!
Never stop, Sarah.
Get a job.
81,000 views in 15 hours. It would be interesting to see how this compares to her normal analytics.
Nice to see Charlie and Angel again...and I love the "Sarahisms"! 😎
Knowledge is a process of piling up facts; wisdom lies in their simplification.
Yes please !!! More videos of this truck!!!!!
Hello from France 🇫🇷 Sarah. Whatever car or truck you are working on, it's a fantastic journey with you. Angel and Charlie are just perfect Compañeros ❤. Peace!
Angel! Nice to see you again. Miss you on the show.
Yes please.... more with this truck.
Nice job, and laughs along the way
You're so nice to Charlie. You RAWK! Happy Holidays to you both!
I thing i like about your video's is that you're not afraid to get your hands dirty no matter what vehicle & the vison you have in your head on the task at hand....awesome....nice work on the editing, makes the videos funny.... dont change.... humorous humorous
Yay Sarah with another Ford Build
I love the heavy truck build. Different and interesting.
If you're using chemicals with bad vapors, you need to use black respirator filter cartridges. Purple filter cartridges only filter out particulates (dust, mist, etc.).
The purple is for organic vapors
Something to haul a certain Mister Dos for a tune!
Great to see Charlie and Angel in a video! You 3 make this look easy, when it clearly is not.
Oh nice! Some truck work. 👍🏻
A small hole in that transmission! 😲
Never change your personality. Things need to be said at that time and we applaud you for it. 👏🏻🙂
Oooh! What a nice surprise! Plus 6 spd manual!!!!
Excellent job on the Truck! Yeah defo need to see more on this project! 🏴🇬🇧
This is a super cool project, love that the Power Stroke is also being reused. Excited to see the coming videos on welding the tray for the back. Great to see the team again too! Always fun to see Sarah and the gang!
Happy Tuesday Sarah!!!
Sweet!! I was wondering when the work truck Cummins swap was gonna take place.
Thanks for making my lunch hour.
High5 to Charlie and Angel!!
Stay excellent!!!😎
No Cummins swap. Hino turbo diesel, gotta keep the Toyota thing on a roll.
Really enjoy seeing the gang back together. Charlie, Angel and Sarah are a pretty sweet Trio.👍
Totally want a Collab with 6061 and weld the bell housing up, welding lesson and you’d get to feed the trolls too 😊
You are always free to change your mind and choose a different future, or a different past.
I highly recommend head studs and egr delete. Lots of people talk major crap about a 6.0, but mine has just a tick under 350k on the original engine and it runs very well. I doubt that would have happened without at least the previous 2 mods mentioned.
Exactly
That hole in the transmission is an inspection port 😂 Makes it easy to see the clutch when the cab is off. It also shouldn't affect the clutch to much unless driven in a very dusty environment or stones get in there.
Excellent choice for the Cummins
Love the way you do your videos. Very excited to see what you do to the aluminum tray
Ok this is going to be a really cool truck, can never go wrong with a cummins diesel
Been waiting to see this build for a long fell in love with your show watching you rebuild your grandma's ranger and Ragnar.
Never stop
Yeeee food cake appearance, missed you angel
Always glad to see Charlie!
Sarah, Charlie & Angel = Dream team 😁
For a cheap less work tip ... Use over paint over rust paint on battery tray droppings also. Use sponge brushes for easy applications..
beautiful! a brush restoration is just perfect for a truck frame. you guys made those cab lifts look easy, though you don’t live in the rust belt but still, awesome!
I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.
Yes!
Thanks alot Iv had that little X tool for 20+years from my dad and never knew with it was for.
Charlie's got a really cool truck to flip - looks very clean, and now running (from what I've seen in your last IG story).
I love the random things you say, it's comedy gold. Impressed by how quick you and Angel tore it apart.
Totally. I find the things Sarah _doesn't_ say just as hilarious.
What a treat!
Don't take the lid off of POR-15. Put 2 self taping screws in the lid across from each other. One to pour out the product the other as a vent.
Yay the gang is back together again! Great to see both Charlie & Angel Fruit Cake.
*Little tip*
Take plastic food wrap and place it over the can of Por-15 and put the lid on top of the food wrap.
This will make future lid removal way easier, also helps to layer or fold the food wrap a few times to be sure it doesn’t tear when pounding the lid back on the can. I’ve been doing this with my Por-15 cans for almost 20 years.
That’s what I’ve been doing, also for about 20 years.
Wow that hole in the bell housing was impressive...... Nice change of subject matter. I hope to see more of the Super Uty soon.
Holy cow Sarah, is there anything you can't do? I love your sense of humor and your off the cuff jokes/remarks... please don't edit them out they are a treat
The beginning of knowledge is the discovery of something we do not understand.
Sarah, stay as you are. You are one of a kind. We all love you as being yourself.
Love from Thailand.
Had to click. Gotta see how sarah gets down on this. I have watched enough cummins swaps that i dont even care... but i know this is gonna be MINT! Also dont forget to like and share. this car saviour works her butt off. 💚
Por15 tips in the cover sealing lip put a little hole with a nail or knife tip. It allows the paint to drain back. take a plastic bag like the kind from the supermarket and put that over the top of the can then put the cover on. You will then be able to get the cover off when needed without destroying the can. once off do the same thing again.
Cool project. Love working with the POR. Amazing stuff. Gotta be careful painting directly from the can. Any dust or powdered rust getting in the can really screw with the converter that remains. Begins the bonding process in the can and may ruin anything left in the can.
Thanks for your time.
I haven’t watched one of her videos in a long time, but I sure do still have a HUGE crush on her. Wow. What a woman. ❤
So excited to watch this build!
Love the truck restore. I was wondering when we would see Charlie's truck again. I hope we get more truck vids. Thanks Sarah
Definitely want to see another video on it!
I love cleanin rust, applying the ground coat and then the dark petroleum body safe on the bodyparts.
Greetins from 🇵🇱
P.S You're such a professional and hot Boss
Don't stop doing what you are doing.
Stay truebto whontou are and continue the way you have been.
I have enjoyed these alot.
cant even buy a F350 or RAM 2500 in my country but still watched Sarah
I didn't watch you for a while but I can't stay away!
Most favorite build on YT, you are building my dream truck. I have no "real" use for such a heavy duty beast other than hauling around a mountain bike or the occasional Home Depot run. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent results team Sarah - thanks for sharing!!
Fantastic teamwork
take a piece of saran-wrap or whatever your preferred flavor of plastic wrap is and put it between the lid and the can, makes it easier to open POR-15 later.
POR 15 is awesome stuff! I've used it multiple times, and I've never had a bad result.
Great video !!!! More on the truck conversion would be great. As for the transmission , can you weld a plate over the broken area ? Thanks for all you do. P.S. very jealous you life in a warm desert, I am in Alberta Canada 45F today,,, that is the high it will be 29F tonight. Take care, be strong
I was thinking the same thing; fit a piece of aluminum into the broken area and tig weld it in. The hole isn’t inside the case where the oil is, so no leak worry. Howdy from your neighbour in south east BC.
Por-15 is the bomb. Used it restoring my 1967 Porsche 912 Targa Soft Rear Window. Sold it for $26k and thought I did well. Sold for $134,900 at auction 7 years later.
AWESOME!! Can't wait to see how it comes together! Thanks for showing projects that nobody else does.
A Superute.. Very nice. Question, I couldn't tell what the bellhousing was made from but if aluminium, could you not weld a 1/4" plate over the hole with your TIG?
They don’t have a “bellhousing” it’s a front and rear case. Ordered a used front case for it, I don’t do janky patch jobs lol
Haha, fair enough..:) @@SarahnTuned
Sarah the hole in the Transmission can be welded. Something you may want to check into cost vs a new or used case
I really need to get a life...every time Sarah´s vlog comes up here in Germany, it is late in the evening. I utter an "Oh, good!" ............Great stuff, Sarah!😁
Don't we all lol😂😂😂
This super ute is looking to be more interesting than I thought.
Wohoo, Charly work truck! Cool that this project is still going.
Yeah my '97 powerstroke did the same thing to its bellhousing due to the failure of the dual mass ft flywheel... Iirc, by 2005 they were using solid mass flywheels 🤔
Will keep an eye on this one.
I found out that dinging a steel part with a steel hammer is better than rubbing it with your hand! You get a way better assessment of it's condition that way.
Sarah - I want to see more videos on this truck! As much as I love EVERYTHING you build, this is something within my ability and budget!
Thanks
It's always a pleasure to watch you work. Don't change a thing.
I love that you are building a ute with an aluminium tray! I'm quite sure all other aussies will too 🙂
This project is right in my wheelhouse! I am a big fan of Sarah n tuned. I am a huge fan of Sarah n tuned does diesel trucks!!!
Love watching everything Sarah. Just hit us with whatever floats your boat. I'm sure we'll enjoy it.
