I should have been a bit more clear in the video, but my Bday is the 12th..So thank you all so, so much for the Bday wishes but it was a bit too early LOL🙈
I am so glad to have started using this mascara last year after hearing your raving reviews about it over and over again. I’m loving it so much I am obsessed. I bought backups too.❤️😂
I bought the paw paw sponges for myself and family members. They are cheap and so good at blending. I have 2 panda eyes mascara that I haven't opened yet. Such good products and affordable.
Our holy grails overlap a little: I love the lip plumper from Nabla and I actually have very similar tweezers for my falsies. Concerning brow products: the pomades from GlamShop should arrive here tomorrow. I’ll definitely let you know whether they have holy grail potential … Love the eye look! 🤩
The sheglam brow pen on one end and micro pencil on the other end is my favourite it's really cool toned and the pen does not dry out I've had it a few months and it's still going strong and the pencil is super fine too so both together give you hair like strokes I was really surprised how much I loved it especially at the price lip plumper scare me lol but the packaging is super cute
Liked this video because you gave me a lot of new products for me to look into. I have a watery eye so I needed products that can still longer and not run all over my eyes. Thank you.👍
I hear you with brow products being too warm for fair olive skin! If you're looking for more alternatives, I would recommend looking at K beauty and other Asian brow products as they have a lot more choice. Yes style is a good place to look, or shein for something cheaper, or if you like something more expensive Florasis or Zeesea are also great for proper grey tones
I loved seeing these :) One of my HGs is the best mascara for me: Urban Decay Perversion - seriously nothing else is as big and black without flaking off on me. The best!
My holy grail mascara is Wet n Wild mega lengths mascara. I have 5 back ups. Best (and cheapest at under £4) mascara I have used in the 30+ years of mascara wearing. (I'm 47). The slim stiff brush grabs every single lash. Superb x
I will definitely try the Panda Eyes mascara, I always use a tubing mascara on my lower lashes, any other formula smudges. Thanks for the suggestion. And Happy Birthday, mine is next week 😸.
On my last birthday, I described it as the 33rd anniversary of my 39th birthday! 😁 I love watching people trying to figure it out 😅 I use the Nyx brow product and PawPaw sponges. Great minds think alike 😂 I love the Makeup Revolution stick foundation. It's a staple in the winter.. and it's so affordable! I'm a powder girl, and for touch ups, I use Maybelline Fit Me pressed powder. One trick I have for undereye crinkles is Tatcha Silk Canvas original primer. I don't like it as a primer, but I warm and press a TINY bit as a last step over my finished makeup. I removes the powder look without disturbing the makeup. 🙃
I use the Paw Paw sponges too, great price! I just bought the LA Girls green, but I'll look for this blue corrector next. I was going to order the Hindash liner, but I'll try to get your Catrice one first and that peach corrector is going on my shopping list. Thanks!!
Keep having fun with makeup! This is our body, our face, "skin, age" lol anyways,, do what makes you happy no matter what the masses think they know how we should do our makeup! There is no right and wrong in art!
I bought the bag of paw paw sponges because of how much you love them and I agree, i wet it the first time and I haven't wet it since 🤩 I prefer a dry sponge to a damp one😍
Kosas Air Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel in grey is my new Holy Grail brow product. It absolutely, positively does not pull red or golden; it's a true ash. Also, stays 12+ hours for me, even at work. Brilliant stuff.
I’m thinking of the things I love and use very often… and I think last year really delivered in formula I love. That being said, I love the beauty bakery sponges in the egg cart. I bought one a while ago, it comes with 6, and I’m still good on sponges.
@@NikkiRaven is that a brand harder to get outside of the US? Because I’m surprised other brands haven’t done something similar… sponges aren’t too expensive to make. BeautyBlender has almost a 70%+ profit off their sponges.
@@HanasRoom Beauty Bakerie is sold here at different retailers but I think that most people still use their fingers to apply foundation (here at least)
I really REALLY like Bourjois mascara (it stays on, goes on well enough, cleans nicely with oil & SMELLS 🌹 gorgeous. My eyes are SUPER sensitive & never fuss or run with Bourjois’ mascara) & I REALLY APPRECIATE the brillian5 simplicity of Bourjois loose RICE POWDER They take out the carbs & leave the rice 🌾 that benefits the skin: it works beautifully. I use the one in a pale green shaker tin, with a pink tinted powder (honestly, you won’t see the pink applied, it simply identifies which formulation it is) it is SOOO fine & light. It sets & blots so nicely, it comes in tiny tins, with a sliding lock, so it is portable. I LIKE it: it doesn’t emphasize rosacea TIP for maintaining optimal mascara consistency: wipe off the wand before reinserting it to the tube. It keeps bacteria, hair, shed skin, DEAD EYE MITES OUT & flaking chunks of half-dry mascara that causes clumping in some formulations. When you think about it, wiping off the unapplied ‘brush waste’ is a *conservation of tube product quality* not a waste that ends up on the tissue. a fresh brush stuck into the tube gives the best product for application, for more applications. I am seeking a fine eyelash comb that IS NOT so r terrifying eye spikes. I have wildly speed-wobbled & stabbed a mascara wand in my hella-myoptic eyeballs enough times to know a pointy tool is NOT suitable for my coordination & short focal length. I tried the Maybelline ‘Telescopic’ mascara & it is okay (nice dainty fine rubber wand for detail work), is less easy to remove with face oil… If I splash out? I get Shiseido Controlled Chaos mascara. SAVE THAT GREAT WAND for other mascaras! There is a new yellow tube out there getting mascara hype I might try, but I will probably just stick to Bourjois in the black & champink tube.
Thanks for the eyebrow suggestions! I am about 50% gray, but it’s not a pretty gray so I do color my hair to my natural black. My eyebrows are black. I’ve not done much with them. They are getting a bit sparse as I age (64). Finding black eye pencils and gels are very hard-they always want to add gray or red tints, which look awful on me. I am super fair, of Irish and Norwegian descent. I want to try the Colourpop spooly thing.
So I just tried the wet n wild breakup proof waterproof eyeliner, brush tip, super black and beats out my KVD trooper at a fraction of the cost. I know you love yours but just in case u need one and cant get it, highly reccomend.
Hi Nikki, love this video. Thank you for the info. I am using some products from Ilia cosmetics that I like very much: super serum skin tint spf4(color formosa) , limitless lash mascara and the lip wrap hydrating mask. Another product that I love is the airbrush flawless finish powder (fair) from Charlotte Tilbury. For the brows I have been using the granite brow powder duo from Anastasia for a while now but I will like to use a brow pencil to mach my gray hair better. So I’m going to look for the one you use.
You are so beautiful! I really just started getting into makeup this last year. I'm 43 and I have hardly ever wore makeup my whole life. When I did it was very minimal. I have a hard time finding the right shade of foundation. I think my skin is somewhere in the medium range (I'm definitely not fair or light). I've tried the color match tests on Nars website and it asks if the blood veins in your wrists look more blue or green and I don't know what that determines. So my problem is trying to find a color dark enough for me without it looking orange. If I go to light I don't look right. I just look way too pale. How do I find a color dark enough and not look orange? Any suggestions.
It can be a challenge for sure. I never understood the vein test because my veins have all kinds of colours haha. I looked at my jewellery. If silver looks best, then you are cool toned (a.k.a. Pink) if gold looks best, then you are warm (a.k.a.) yellow. If both look equally good then you are a neutral. That is the easiest way and this works for most people. The best part of your body to swatch is your jawline. You start on your lower cheek and then go down to your neck. When you blend the shade out it should fade into your skin. Now what happens for me (because I have a warm Olive complexion) is that Neutral foundations turn pink and warm (yellow) foundations turn orange. Cool foundations (pink) turn grey.😅 For years I have been matched warm or neutral..So I was either oink or orange LOL. When I found out that I am an olive..well let's say that it made a lot of sense haha My advice is to go to a store and either get matched by them or get some foundation samples. Good luck😘
@@NikkiRaven Thank you. I think gold and silver both look good but I love silver or white gold best. The veins in my wrist are different colors too. Can you be medium and have an olive under tone? Maybe I should try and olive shade just to see. I don't know. I will figure it out. Thank you. I love your videos.
