Marillion fans always consider them, the world's best secret. Let's consider something, that we can all be grateful for. One of the band members eloquently described their success as, "successful enough to keep writing and performing but not so successful to consider retiring". As a fan of this remarkable band, from their beginning, I'm deeply grateful that they still feel the need to brighten my life and the lives of all of their loyal fans. I wish them all the success they deserve and more.

I thought that after the fish era these guys were finished...!!!! After 33 yrs i discovered no one can... fantastic place ....and this train is my life...!!! and i am banging my head against the wall for underrating them. Came back better than ever with Hogarth and 33 yrs of my life thrown away .
I had a feeling all throughout this show that the boys were giving the world a statement. One that was saying...look (via the numerous iconic moments)... listen (we STILL have it...and more)...hear (what this band has to offer over the years) and yet they produced what to me and many others consider to be one of the performances of their career. Showing they have plenty more left in the tank. To me they will be as important and indearing to their fans and will be for many years to come. Long live Marillion and all those that sail with her...
This train (pats his chest) is my life...the pure sentiment of that statement just shows the power of his delivery...what a show this gig was. The amount of times that I was overwhelmed by each member of this band at this and the other shows on this tour.
Sum being greater than the parts, and when the parts are such of exemplary talent...you get this, surely must be looked upon as one of the greatest unsung bands this world has witnessed. Only ignored, but for save the few that truly cherish what this band do. To those precious few, to whom this band are simply the ultimate of what can be accomplished in music. They are simply the best.

As the son of a railwaymen, this song has particular resonance with me, H sings it with passion here, leading me to ask the question WHEN'S THE DVD COMING OUT!
I'm glad they asked, and I would be happy to front a portion of the insurance again! This was such an amazing show, in an historic venue - the energy of being with the Marillion family and experiencing the band live again was powerful. It definitely was the Fantastic Place.
The Bridgewater Hall gig was incredible. Not sure the insurance girl knew what to do when H was questioning her, hahaha, and him telling Tony Blair to **** off was hysterical.
Condolences to you on the profound loss of your partner and of your mother my friend. I endured the break up of a lengthy relationship recently, but Marillion is still here for me.

Frank...when a band can replicate or even improve on a studio album, performing it live, that's an accomplishment. Doing that when you're in you 60s....well there is only ONE MARILLION!!

A little change in the key from the original song. My ears are telling me half a tone down. I suppose that it's hard for H to sing in the original key.Nonetheless still sounds great.
I know they had to tone down "The Space" a full step, and it still sounds like a song h should steer clear of. Other than that he's still a great singer. Edit: Yes, it's a half step lower than the original.
