The cat in the second picture looks like she’s saying “Stop Cass. It wasn’t your fault I got ran over by the car on the street. Don’t listen to Purrla.”
Things I have to say about this: *Great work overall! I really like the execution on this! *Just like your interpretation, I thought that the unplayable Inhabitants would be separate from their Nega-Boss Counterparts. I still adhere to that for the games. *The manner in which these characters speak shows their agenda. Cass conveys guilt in her lyrics since she thinks she killed the cat. The Purrla tortures her and fuels her guilt, taking sadistic glee in his work, while Emma and Leo are aware that the cat might still be alive and try to assure Cass of his (or her) probable survival, thus easing her pain. *Your use of the Air Cat costume before Emma (who has an actual Air Cat costume) and Leo (who is dressed as a Pumpkin Puncher) showed up to interfere is kinda interesting. Gives the feeling that Cass herself tried to fight the Purrla off until she succumbed to the torture and Emma and Leo came to save her. *The way that Cass's cat looked during the picture when she was singing about how this mess her fault looks like he (or she) is saying, "This mess is not your fault, Cass. Don't listen to that thing." *The fact that the Purrla actually freaked out when Emma and Leo arrived. That thing actually pooped his drawers! (Metaphorically, of course.) *I wish that there was dialogue for the backstory cutscene (Example: Cass could say, "Wow! A cat!" when her cat arrives.) and in the post-healing cutscene (Example: Cass could say, "I'm so glad you're alive!" when she sees that the cat is alive after all and if the cat could speak, he (or she) could apologise for getting her into all this trouble. I mean, I'd feel sad if it seemed like someone who was close to me died, or if it seemed like I died to that someone who was close to me.)
