Ive just discovered you & im obsessing over dot painting and want to try it myself. You mentioned at the start you purchased your to k but do you also make them yourself? If so do you happen to have a tutorial I’d love to see it. I create trinket trays & dishes using an Acrylic resin compound ( similar to Jesmonite) would that be a good surface to create the art on or is something like Plaster of Paris better?

Beautiful design and I love the colors. Do you have any problems getting the guidelines off? I use the same pencils and the same base coat, and sometimes the lines do not come off.

Beautiful pattern and great colors!! It's very regal and looks like a design of precious stones. Another wonderful piece of work by you! With the chalk pencils that fall apart, I've had some success in using an old eyebrow pencil sharpener--which seems to be a little more kinder while sharpening than regular pencil sharpeners. (Sadly, the brand name has worn off the sharpener and I haven't been able to find another exactly like it.)

I don’t really care for them. I like the rods that you use. I bought a set to try and find that I always go for those first. Super easy to clean.
